From the French Press Conference of Inception in Paris, in July 2010. Directors, actors and co-stars talk about Marion Cotillard: • Directors, actors and ...
So here is how I listened to this. As soon as I realised the interpreter was in my right earphone, and Leo alone was in my left, I covered and removed a bit, the right headphone, so I could concentrate better. Marion is captivating and as Edith Piaf - incroyable! I didn't realise who the actress was!!
I don’t know what it is, but in a room full of beautiful women, Marion would stand out as one of the most beautiful. I thought she was haunting, stunning, in Inception.
I wouldn't blame him. She is a fascinating woman. Being an American it is wonderful to see her struggle with speaking our language yet be extremely charming and perfectly communicative. And even then her consummate skill as an actor shines through. All she needs is a slight nudge and the character she wants to produce leaps to the fore in response to the slightest provocation. It seems an involuntary thing. Able to produce any character she wishes yet one of the most self-possessed and aware women I'm aware of. But I suspect not. Just from what I've read in the comments section here. And his admiration of her as an actor seems sincere. However, he is quite good as an actor himself. So who knows!?
I just watched Marion Cotillard on the Craig Ferguson show from back when this movie was shown. AND SHE got an Oscar award for this act w/ Leon...🏆🙌🏼💓🙏🏼
OK she is a woman who stays in character......like Meryl Streep.....how far do you go to make these scenes believable ? all the way ? then, you turn it off when you go home......I expect it is what Marion does. She gives it all, goes all the way, then she goes home and puts on another hat.
