The gold is not easy to find out there,I worked at Leonora and Laverton at Granny Smith gold mine and an iron ore mine as a poly pipe fusion welder back in 2003. I went out gold prospecting with some locals on my days off and we only found a few small nuggets.
You are right, it would not be easy to find your fortune out there. We have only found small pieces but we have also spent time in other areas and found none. It’s really good fun though, if it’s just a hobby.
A good prospector always fills in their holes and re-plants the vegitation pushed out by the dozer. Is there tree planting / revegitation part of the lease conditions? No wonder the deserts are getting bigger.
Thanks Darren, I appreciate your feedback. I guess those questions should be directed to the lease holder. I wouldn’t have thought the odd scraping here and there would have as big an impact as you suggest. To be fair, I didn’t see any trees being removed, only low bushy scrub that I don’t think would take very long to recover but I absolutely do take your point.
@@waynevmay Nice one we are thinking of inquiring about a lease our selves because of the rate of pending ground going live in the last 12 months there won't be much left soon. Great video good luck 👍
Thanks for commenting, just having some fun on holidays. The video was put together for family back in the UK, only expected half a dozen views. Don’t judge us too harshly 😀
Thanks for commenting, I bought the Hipstick for Debbie’s birthday, this was the first time she has used it. She loves it, says it is much more comfortable and can spend longer in the field between breaks.
@@waynevmay And I get more time now since there now made in Australia (Thanks Frieda & JP) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8McwyTr4QEk.html
