@@nikolaisuterovich correct me if I’m wrong because I’ve seen different sources but essentially the difference between DM53A1 and DM53 is the propellant used. Apparently DM53A1 is the same as DM63? But remember this would be coming out of an L44 gun rather than an L55 gun. As for penetration, I’d suspect it would be almost or exactly identical as the DM53 coming out of the L44 gun of the leopard 2A5. Which isn’t terrible considering this is basically an uparmoured leopard 2A4

I wanna have fun on big maps which i get like 10% or less in MM, its a completely joke, thats why i quit ground, planes are the best, and hell, they even gonna get a option ( xD always something ) to get lower player battles and theres more big maps than in ground, and u can just have fun with u favourite one PLANE, and premiums planes are much better cuz u play with only one, compared to ground where one live is pretty LMAO and u gonna grind longer with only one premium, and like u said, its annoying for u team.

It'll hang nicely with 11.7. I use my 2PL more than my 2A5. Mostly due to the almost unusable thermals on the 2A5/2A6.

@@General_kenobi12 To my knowledge those fences (slat armor) are supposed to stop chemical rounds like HE, HEAT, early ATGMS etc. But it is basically useless. Atleast in War Thunder.

@@General_kenobi12 The 2a4M CAN was designed for use in Afghanistan so the slat armor was probably chosen primarily to deal with RPGs and IEDs. I'll imagine in game its more cosmetic than anything but as a Canadian I'm just glad we get another tank in game.

ok bro I can't lie if you didnt like the base 2A4 there's no guarantee you'll like this. Its basically the same tank with slightly better Armour, a better apfsds shell but now its at 11.3. Im hyped for it but I love the 2A4 and pre-existing 2PL.

it is not the same add-on armor, if you look closely, you can see that it is not the same The 2A5 and up have a different turret front to the 2A4 if you removed the add-on armor, you can see that in the x-ray that the gun mantlet is narrowed down
