Leopard 2A6 1/35 RC Conversion Rework, 1. Replace the barrel servo 2. Adjust the damping grease of barrel 3. Let the track work smoothly and remake the move videos. Music: Summer Breeze from "SHARDED", Beauty of Love.
@@allen8775 I have tried many method to anchor the torsion bar to swing arm and your method is the only method I found works, since it is very small it is not noticeable after painted anyway. By the way what putty do you use for the swing arm axle to make it circular?
Thank you for your answers to questions, I have been watching some of these videos and the Korean(?) guys seem to be really good at it, but, I neither read or understand Korean, so hard to figure out where to get or what some of those parts they use are. Is there a modeling book for this or mostly self taught?
Hello, may not find that. Watch more related videos, read more about vehicle and mechanical structures from website, and try to make them by hand, you will gain something. Learn by experience.
Hello.. In your opinion, which one is quieter? Metal track or plastic track? I get a weird uncomfortable high pitch noise on my plastic track leopard. I then put bearing on idler where I thought it will quiet it down, but the noise is still there. When I remove the track and let the sproket run, the noise is gone. I thought it was the plastic track that gives noise. What do you think?
Hello, I would use metal track if I can find that. The main problem on this tank is support idle roller, It must be sure that the track can run pass it smoothly. And another problem is the track touch the hull while running. You can check this.
@@allen8775 okay thank you. Actually I am starting saving money to buy more expensive tamiya leo 2A6 just to make sure everything is precise. Its like everything is wrong with hobby boss 🤣 I am testing it this morning with tracks and just hold it in the air with one hand and run it, it has no noise! So I am sure it is the alignment issue of the road wheels that create this noise, only when it is running on the ground the noise is exist.

Hello, what makes the servo for the gun recoil to be able to back to original position? Did you manually flip the switch or is it because of the spring? Or is there any program to make it back to original position? By the way about my problem of tank noise, finally after 1.5 years looking for it, I have found the solution. I am using GA16 reduction motor, it is so quiet. The quietest among all and apparently the problems I have about the noise is because of the motors. N20 motor is too small for 1/35 so its creating loud noise, while Tamiya Twin Motor Gearbox gears are noisy because is not as precise as reduction gears on reduction motors. GA16 is just perfect! I will share it one day.
I just finished setting up my 3D printed gearbox for my leopard. Now I am moving toward the suspension. In the hull, the holes for the suspension arms is not completely circular. How do you make it circular? Did you use dremel or circular file is enough?
@@allen8775 thank you. The elecyric grinder work nicely. I could remove the materials in minutes. Now I am waiting the gluing process on the suspension anchor. It seems like you anchor your torsion bar using super glue, just like what I did. If so, how do you remove the white snowy residue during the curing/drying process?
