Aftermarket exhaust is always a good idea! Its usually worth it just for the weight savings cuz stock exhaust weights a ton on every bike.

I was torn between the lex and Leo exhaust but I found a used staintune on eBay for the same price a couple weeks ago so I jumped all over it so happy I did all stainless steel looks and sounds great it's the exhaust I really wanted but at almost $700 new there was no way I was paying that. Changing the oil chain and upgrading the brakes (hh pads steel braded lines and tusk oversize rotor) today my bike is slowly but surely becoming the ultimate klr next I think I'm going to send off the suspension to cogent dynamics to let them do their magic but that won't be till this winter when I won't miss riding it for a couple weeks

sounds good, Joe Gibbs "Driven" racing oil is about the best oil you can buy imo esp. for older engines without roller cams/lifters

On a oil change, I put 200ml/1/4pint of oil flush in my KLR and run it for 3 minutes, it's worth it on any bike. Maxima oils seem to have a good reputation.

Chain wax is great. I run rotella oil in my klr with the high flow oil filter. I would recommend the tusk pannier racks.

Have the same exhaust on my Africa twin 750 and absolutely love it from a power increase to that lovely roar. :D The only downfall is on longer trips the drone can get a bit much and hearing your passenger ain't gonna happen but still worth it to sound like a boss. Haha!

Nice exhaust but im really happy with my lexx on my klr! Alot of bang for the buck! Also a good quality exhaust also! I also did the 22 cent mod at first the did the dyno jet kit like a year after along with modded my air box. Well worth the carb mods along with the lexx pipe it really woke up the klr!!!

Jeremy you really need to upgrade the springs in your suspension. It should be the number one upgrade on any KLR except the 2014.5 and newer ones. I would recommend RaceTech front springs and a TopGun 8.0 rear spring. It makes the world of difference like your beautiful pipe. Every oil change you need to change out the crush washer.

any of the GRP 5 ester based products are the best of the best....esters have the highest film strength and temp resistance of any other base oil.. throw in a solid slug of chemistry .. you get maxima ... quality stuff

How much louder is the new exhaust from the stock one? If it helps on the air flow it will be worth the money to help the engine breathe properly. Rejet the carb and keep your hand off full throttle and watch millage & power increase too.

You have a missing fuel filter bypass valve. Your oil will not be filtering...

i picked one up. the are way heavier than my dg. the dg is a straight thru design. the leo must have internal baffles as you cannot see daylight from 1 end to the other.

Eh. While T4 is technically OK for motorcycles (because diesel oil doesn't have friction modifiers) I'd rather use an oil specifically formulated for motorcycle engines, clutches and transmissions. The extra money is worth it to me.
