It's a bit odd that that part the lore (somewhat) survived to modern day, but the part about leprechauns using blood to make a pot of mead that made the drinker functionally immortal didn't (I'm assuming gold was more palatable than blood mead for modern audiences).
The shoe thing actually makes a lot of sense if you look into the mythology surrounding Leprechauns. Along with them having a thing for protecting their pots of gold, they're believed to also spend a lot, if not most of, their time making shoes.

I think it's that in many horror movies, the dumb people at least leads to fun slasher kills. So yeah it's annoying how dumb those people act but at least you can have fun seeing them get fucked up. In this movie characters are dumb without it leading to some cool horror/slasher moments. This means that they are dumb without getting any reward for it.

JT Lane Halloween shouldn't be done until around the last week of August. That why the series goes all the way until the Friday before Halloween and to when the new Haloween film comes out.
Technically, the Leprechaun’s obsessive shoe shining is slightly based on Irish folklore, as some earlier portrayals of leprechauns described them as gifted cobblers.
I don’t think he’d do it, recounts don’t always do well and James doesn’t love doing smaller franchises as much anymore because of the algorithm. If anything zoran could cover these if James had to take another break, he covered like 95 tremors movies and those are way worse lol
Joshua Nelson that doesn't say much... comparing (at best) mediocrity to utter garbage doesn't make it great. and realistically even the best of the Friday films are not exactly great films. I had way more fun watching some of those Lep movies than I had with Friday 5, Freddie Vs Jason and Manhattan. Because Lep movies are so bad they are hilarious. The aforementioned three Friday films are just mind-numbingly boring and repetitive but not in a funny kind of way.

The characters aren't smart, but whoever put paint stains on the actors has obviously never painted a house. I thought you would ride some odd wheeled transportation off to the kill count like Lep did. Thanks for Dead Meat James, you critique a wide balance of topics with justice. Also, totally digging the tempo of releases, doing series on Fridays and one shot films on Mondays.

If my days of studying English Literature have taught me anything, then I would say it's supposed to go like this: I'll not rest till' I have me gold. (A) Curse this well that me soul (A) shall dwell (B) till' I find me magic that breaks this spell. (B) Normally, in a rhyme or poem, the final word in a sentence will rhyme with the one below. There can be alternatives though. In this case, the rhyme scheme goes AA BB. Gold rhymes with soul, dwell rhymes with spell. BUT it could also go like this: I'll not rest till' I have me gold. (A) Curse this well (B) that me soul shall dwell (B) till' I find me magic that breaks this spell. (B) Now the rhyme scheme is A BBB. Gold is isolated, while the following three all rhyme together. While the former works better with a general rhyming structure, the latter has a better rhythm and beat to it. It flows more smoothly. Nevertheless, that's about as much as I can make sense of it. My work here is done.
Dead Meat I was compelled to analyse it almost immediately, like I was being summoned. I had found my calling. BONUS: I got my old English Literature buddy in on it too, for a second opinion, (we take this stuff deadly serious) and she suggested that gold and soul could be read as a half rhyme. She also said that whoever wrote that rhyme needs locking up for crimes against the english language. Long story short, whichever way you look at it, at the end of the day, it still reads like shit!

That "poem" at the end is just awful. It's some wired mixture of anapests and trochies, there might also me some iamb in there too, that just doesn't make much sense. Also why does the first line have no rhyme scheme? As someone currently in college to study English I have no clue what's up with this.
