Cet album bonifie parfaitement l'image de ce groupe entier. J'adore ce heavy métal de Beauty Of Death, à la X-Japan, si je puis me permettre ! De "Silent Waters" à "Malina", Leprous est presque méconnaissable, mais tout est bon, ce qui rend l'oeuvre exquise .. :D Mes préférences pour Aeolia, Silent Waters, Coal et Tall Poppy Syndrome ! Le meilleur morceau restera The Valley à mon goût !
@@v616sirius I saw Gojira live last month, in Pittsburgh, than I saw this comment and I went and dug in to those two albums a bit, I had listened to all Gojira stuff From Mars to Sirus to Fortitude, but I never got the chance to do The Link or TI, CLONE AND DEATH OF ME ARE BANGERS!

@@vesuvius115 Dual Masterpieces without a doubt, one a story of a world to come. And the other being a exploration of what we must all face. It's always refreshing to have a positive outlook on these things especially in metal where a lot of projected emotion is just rage or violence. I think that's a big part of the reason I have stayed listening to Gojira and Devin Townsend , because they're so good at putting complex emotions and concepts into really powerful and moving music.

man, this is very avant garde. A mix of black metal, prog, and even folk and memes. Good thing they toned everything down and made more serious stuff, kinda hurts to listen to.
This Aeolia and Tall Poppy Syndrome are Leprous at their best and yet they are only the demos What happened to this band? The new albums are ok but the lack something the old ones had
i’m gonna have to respectfully disagree. while i absolutely love everything leprous has made, the congregation and malina are my two favorite albums of all time, hands down. there’s so much character and meaning behind every note they play and every note einar sings, and it just feels like there’s more emotion in their songs now than there ever was. they’re moving in a less heavy direction, sure, but the complexity is definitely still there. the more you look in to each song, the more you find. like third law, for example, starts right off with a fucking mental 17/16+17/16+9/8+3/4 riff, or maybe take moon, where the bass pedal at the end of the song alternates between 15/16 and 13/16, and each measure starts with a sixtuplet. a sixtuplet, played starting on the ‘a’ of the quarter note pulse for every single 13/16 measure. or maybe coma, where the bass pedal is almost entirely 32nd note offbeats (or 16ths depending on how you interpret the beat) idk rant over i guess i just really love this band at every stage that they’ve been in
also shut up i know i’m year late to this comment i also have more to say.. how i see it, this band has always been so creative and innovative and a real staple of the prog genre. it’s like their music is always evolving and morphing, never wanting to be the same thing. they’ve even said themselves that they want every album to have a unique and original sound, and i’m all for that but who gives a shit about my opinions lmao listen to whatever you want

@@andralfoo actually as far as I understand, lucifer has already joined the light again. not sure about the entity called satan tho, but he probably will be (if not already was) sent into the galactic central sun eventually to transmute his soul completely into light again since everything came from it and will return to it: right now we are witnessing the end of an intergalactic/interdimensional war between dark and light that has raged for millions of years in this universe.. and from a higher perspective, the light has already won! the divine plan is to elevate all existence into the 5th dimension and above, where only unity consciousness and love reigns.. soon all dark in this universe will once and for all be transformed and this entire universe will reach a state of pure love and unity. thanks to the galactic federation, the resistence movement and the collective awakening of humanity, drastic changes are about to happen here on earth within probably the next 6 months: the complete and utter collapse of the matrix and our modern slave-system! this event will mean the liberation of planet earth and will mark the final victory of light, which heralds the next step in evolution of this entire universe.. ..and now imagine what i just wrote has truth to it.. this game is so huge man..
