Haïti est bien placée pour devenir riche comme tous les pays riches du monde avec des montagnes des plages des sables blancs des bons paysages magnétiques
problem was Duvalier got rid of the intellectuals back then and replaced them with uneducated peasants in order to grab on to power like his predecessors did.
I am so happy to see how Haiti is evolving even with the bad press that it gets. I always feel so proud of my Haiti; In good times and Bad times. Haiti has come a long way. It's a beautiful country and strong country. Like our Motto says l' Union Fait La Force (together we're strong) Whether Americans, French or our Diaspora or other country helping us rebuilt financially, we always have to remember our" Motto" let's not be ungrateful! It gives me goose bumps, every time I get on the plane to go to Haiti, it always feels as if its my first time going there. I couldn't have been born in better Country than Haiti. I am very proud to see different kind of foreigners taking more interest in Haiti. It's a good thing that These foreigners take the time to visit our little Paradise Island of Haiti. We are "Together Strong." Let's not forget that!
It does the heart and soul to see images of a prosperous Haiti. Yes, there are poor sections in the country. But they will be eradicated in due time. Haiti, je vous adore avec tout mon coeur.
The airport looks great!!Its a shame once you leave the airport the rest of the country is in SHAMBLES.GOD BLESS THE HAITIAN PEOPLE. EVANGELIST ROGER MANSOUR

Nou pap ka rive vre Ayiti gen tròp tizè pouvwa ak nèg ki renmen lajan ak enterè pèsonel yo plis ke pèp la. Epi gen tròp kokorat nan palman an vire tounen senatè ap batay kraze palman
Wowwww ke le Bondieu kontinye vide Bénédiction li sou haiti et bay gouvernement plus force poul kontinye travay,,,, yon jou n'a manyen di menm Kom vwazen nou , nou gen yon peyi ki gen figi tou! Se sa nap chercher, se pot sa yo ki pou ouvri bay etranger vin investi lakay nou!
Just got back from Haiti two weeks ago and the whole country is under construction. This new government has surprised me, I didn't think he would be able to pull it off... Most people in Haiti are satisfied but want it to continue like that.
Haiti has overcome MUCH more then that in its past... Anyone betting against Haitians just doesn't know Haitians.... The futures bright, and anyone who's been there recently is amazed by the country's turnaround.... Haters will hate on this country which keeps on getting back up, no matter what comes it's way.... Ha!!

If you are buying tools the answer is yes, If you are buying consumer and luxury items, the answer is no. Most industries in Latin America were built during the Second World War. Because of the war, the industrialized nations used all their manufacturing outputs to support the war effort. Hence, people in Latin America had to start making things for themselves. You can also import parts to assemble machines. But increasing the amount or value (or both) of the goods that you export is the way.
