LES BROWN and his Band of Renown. 

My mom and dad had a blind date in the 40's at the Claremont Hotel where Les and renown played leading to the birth of my brother and other renowns of my family unit!

Such a great band, with a West Coast sound but very accessible with great arrangements and super soloists and kept going under the same leader for something like 60 years! Many thanks for posting.

Mom would tell of the band in Halifax, entertaining troops while she was an MP. Damn I miss my mom. Her birthday is coming up, 12/12/24
