Been to over 700 shows ranging across the spectrum, this man and his fancy bands never disappoint. Really hard to find quality of this magnitude live on stage putting on a one of a kind show. Also, great job on the recording I appreciate it very much, got a new subscriber from me
Probably not intentional at all, but I love the way this was recorded. It looks like 30 frames per second, but it works so well with the vibe and music.
It was recorded at 60 fps but yt decided to mess up the frame rate when I uploaded it. Rather than redo this, eventually a 2 cam version will be made. If you watch the opening set by Uncle Sea Monster, it appears as it should. Both sets were given the same treatment/remux with better audio but here we are lol.
Fantastic concert yet great American music hall, your venue was an absolute covid cooker with barely any air to breathe. Fix your a/c please, your venue needs a huge uplift to support a concert of this size . Super hot, even Les said he had to for the first time in his life, take his jacket off. Do better please.
This is actually quite bad overall. If you take Les anywhere outside of the primus thing, he is hopeLESsly lost. I have always suspected it, this confirms it. He has no energy here, just mostly pentatonic licks at every turn. I have also always suspected that he starts these countless "bands", because he wants to be seen as this genius, who has to try many different musical styles. Genius he is not and he even plays the same way, in different groups. What is the point of Les Claypool, musically speaking, beyond old Primus?
