Le mot « wajh » dans la langue arabe a plusieurs sens, et son sens premier est « visage » ou « face ». Mais ce n’est pas ce sens qui est retenu lorsqu’il est attribué à Allâh. En effet Allâh n’est pas composé de parties, Il n’est pas un corps et Il n’a ni membre, ni organe.
