I have to admit I didn't even know that these were two songs put together until I searched for "Firewall" and it was not the same. So seamless. I can't help seeing the SnK amv when i listen too it was captivating. Thanks so much!
Even though it wasn't exactly a "mix" I LOVE how Firewall immediately transitioned to the badass bass drop of Who Will Save You Now. My only complaint being there's no modulation of the key (however, that's not your fault at all lol. You'd have to improvise something in between the two songs). I read some of the other comments, and for being basically slapped together, this is pretty cool :)
I like this. And yes i have reported @Timek Skowron for abuse. If u have a problem with it, go somewhere else. If this guy isnt experienced with mixing songs thats not ur problem. I think hes done a great job with this taking into consideration his inexperience.
I appreciate it man. This was improperly titled as a mix, as I don't think it meets the specifications, but I had no idea what else to word it. It was literally the audio used in one of my AMVs and I ripped it since people liked it and wanted to hear that variant of the songs together.
Looking though the comments I noticed you got a some critics. So I thought I would tell you this is the version I've prefer to listen to for the last 2 years. It takes both of my fav parts of the songs, so thank you
Hey Donnie, I highly doubt you will reply but, would you mind if I used this in a Mob Psycho 100 AMV? Also if you watched it that would.. make my year!
Both these songs are absolutely phenomenal... but not like this. This mix was terribly done, all that was accomplished was a seriously bad splicing. The idea is amazing and maybe if you acquire some better technology that better suits creating mixes you could edit it and make it wonderful, but right now... I'm sorry, but just no.
Saying something is terribly done is hardly going to identify the problem. In no way, shape or form in your message did you describe what was actually wrong with the mix. No, it's not perfect, but it's enough for people to enjoy - and that's the point. :)
I apologize. I was fairly vague. I saw that it was a "mix", and I assumed that it would be precisely that -- a mix. What I heard was more a weird compilation rather than a mix. I thought it would be more like a medley type thing, mixing the two songs to make one. Like the first verse of one song would play, then fade somehow into the second verse of the second song. Something like that, you know? Perhaps I was just expecting something different than what I heard and it soured my opinion of it, but what I got from it was the best parts of two amazing songs awkwardly grafted onto each other.
Ahhh. I see, that makes far more sense. It was a mixture I indeed used for an animated music video and there are certain strange pauses and transitions there for a reason. Mostly to allow characters time to speak to emulate the story for the video. Though I do see some of what you're speaking of and I will do my best to improve on that. I normally don't mix songs, mind you. Sometimes I have to improvise on the spot for my videos, so this was put together rather quickly to accommodate. Thank you for the constructive words!
Oh it's not a problem at all. I didn't take it as such. It's all no problem. Even though I'm very much an amateur with mixing, be it that it isn't my priority, I do want to improve my abilities with it eventually, so thank you for sharing your thoughts. :)
Reported Tomek Swokron for Abusing you. Dude can't even tell what date it was. Poor thing climb up his own ego and jump to his IQ. No one would miss him tho.
That is a transition. The transition would sound smoother if the sound quality of both songs was equal at 320kbps, since they're both by the same artist. Sadly one is lower than the other and it sounds far more out of place. Thanks for the "opinion" though.
rippl3r0 Were you not that one to quote the video's title with your snide comment of "mix"? Look, you don't like the mix. I understand that. But I would respect it if you did not bash my effort at trying to make a mixture of two songs. It wasn't for listening purposes only - it was a song I used in an AMV. It's going to sound off anyways because of the purpose in which I used it in the video for.
