@@tomwallhead6950 I am actually more thinking about the woman's seeing the top men struggling in the roadgap. But I guess there will be a rideable main line they can take
Nice to see Jesse Melamed and Remi Govin. Would love to see Jesse give dh a try. He did win in dh over Finn, Wallace and a few more dh pros last year at Crankworx.
Yeah that was a welcome surprise as someone who watches both. The comment Jesse made about sponsorship for a DH bike was interesting though knowing Rocky Mountain makes a DH bike
@@loamymtb yeah but the Maiden is outdated and running on 27.5, but I'd understand his comment as if rocky isn't planning any new dh rigs in the near future...
Appreciate you letting us see the track in so much detail Bernard and giving us an insight into how you look ok at it, keep up the great vlogs and best wished for racing this weekend !! 🏆💯🤘
Even if you guys aren't winning all the time in context you might be, if your videos show the type of effort you guys put in accurately, your by far the highest placed for the amount of seriousness and time you spend on bike dialing and serious training, hats off to you guys for having fun and still doing well!
Gotta say bernard, these latest LSD's are class, loving the race vlogs from the EWS and your inside baseball DH stuff is epic. Shout out to the vlog crew - Barney, Ed, Waxxer, , Morgan, Lada and Emily. Great content for an NZ winter!
Thanks all who put this video together. Great to see a track with no long up hill sections. I don't want to see another season where endurance decide the world cup series win instead of skill and courage (balls)
Every day, doing the mahi!; managing a team, racing, filming and editing, and still finding tennis ball time 💪. Thankyou for letting us see the scene from the LSD perspective.
Best World cup scene coverage channel! But this time the camera angle was positioned strange and it didn’t feel good when we couldn’t see the front tire and the cockpit.
When everyone else is wearing fancy GPS watches and Oaklies ....Bernard is rocking Persols and a $10 casio....When the team goes for a track walk, everyone brings the trekking poles while Bernard uses a cane umbrella...Absolute gentlemans downhiller and I don't want to argue about it.
FAF! Even I fancy a go at that….which probably means the go pro has flattened that course out a great deal. Hope it stays dry for you guys n girls. Nina is my favourite. NiiinaaniiinaaaaNIIINAAAANIIINAAAniiinaaaaaa a a a
First off, love the videos! Side note…Why does your seat have to buzz the back tire every time you fully compress? Doesn’t that slow you down a wee bit? Even if it’s only for .4 of a second loss that would add up considering it could happen 2 maybe 3 times in a run. Hope you can sort that out and get a win!
at 17:42 there’s a high line that goes all the way down into the corner and looks a bit smoother than the main line, you should try it in a practice run
also at 12:59, staying high and the left hugging the pad instead of dipping down low to come back up and ease right.. could also be alot of camber there and not easy to hold.
Bernard just casually sends that murderous road gap on his warmup lap, no run-up, no hesitation at all, no puzzling... then I remember he won Hardline couple of times, eats much worse shit for breakfast...
There was footage of her taking off too far to the right of the road gap, but we never saw her land. Apparently unlikely to race although I haven't read any detailed descriptions of her injuries. Footage here: www.vitalmtb.com/forums/The-Hub,2/Les-Gets-Road-Gap-Carnage,11216
