you can see the dilemma of ranking points system by the plight of Raducanu. when she had time to practice she was able to hit serve and groundstrokes with power, now that she needs to win she concentrates on not missing. I see the same here.

@@higgsboson2280 Ranking has nothing to do with a player's serve, it's only half the story - poor server's have ranked highly when the rest of their game is good. Raducanu's 2021 results is because she's still new to the tour and she's not as good as people believe.

@@Vipa567 I'm not talking about the serve, although even that is weak. I'm talking about the groundstrokes. This girl plays way too safe. It's a bad habit

@@higgsboson2280 You were talking about the serve. It's fine to play it safe if you have a consistent weapon like strong athleticism or a good serve - both of which this girl has. I have no idea why you even brought up Raducanu in the first place.

@@Vipa567 thanks for telling me what I was talking about. I'm obviously not in control of my own mind.......I'll bow to your all knowing wisdom. Regards Raducanu, if you can't see the parallel between Raducanu's current plight and Klugman then you are missing a lot. Plugman had power when she was 11, now she does not. Something has regressed in her game. I'm not as impressed by wins as you obviously are. Wins and ranking points at such a young age is the problem. Rather than continuing to develop, it's all about the points. P.s. her athleticism is not as good as it was at 11 either. Not sure whether it's due to a growth spurt, but she does not look as good at 13.
