This video is a personal one that remembers the life of my Father, Les Polack. He was born in September 1923 and died on March 3rd 2023..just short of his 100th birthday. It features the eulogy shared at his funeral at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Dimboola on March 10th 2023 with a range of footage and photos from his life.

Thanks for those kind thoughts! Really Appreciate that. I'm so glad I did all the various interviews etc.. working away at the moment on more of his stories. But do just miss him! Thank you!

What a great dad. You have been blessed to have had your dad in your life for so many fantastic years. I wish my dad would have reached nearly 100 years; but God Creator took him home at 64 years. Blessings to all the family for sharing. Wonderfull eulogy.

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm sorry you lost your Dad at 64...if Dad would have died then I wouldn't have been able to capture most of his story. I'm sorry you didn't get to spend those extra years with him..but there is a life to come...

Thanks so much Derek for the kind words and thoughts.. much appreciated. I'm thankful for the precious time I had with him. He was quite the story teller and I managed to get quite a few interviews with him.. so aiming to share more. Thank you!

What a great eulogy Matt, nearly made the Ton! Great stories of ingenuity and faith. My Dad passed away in 2022 at 91, always had a yarn for any occasion and would often strike up conversations with complete strangers and quickly find some common connection or relation. I reckon your dad would have been good at that too!

Thanks for that! Yeah Dad was great at chatting with anyone..he seemed to know everyone or at least some family connection in the Wimmera...so possibly would have known your Dad. He was a shire councillor, so got around in the community a lot. Thanks for the kind words...sorry for your loss...I still miss Dad and just having him pick up the phone and chat away with a word of encouragement etc..."We're praying for you Matt" he'd say...thanks!
