OKAY I thought it was obvious but it seems that it causes a lot of trouble so just to make things clear: I KNOW that there are NO such languages as Mexican and Austrian. there are the productions that are named in a video, not languages! Mexican and Austrian PRODUCTIONS/vesions (just as French and French revival!), languages are OBVIOUSLY Spanish and German...
Russian language is a language for poem. French is a language of Love. English is a business language.... German....ammmm....I don't want talk about it as a native Russian.
Yes. I'm from Russia and i hate our remakes, but our version of Romeo and Julliette, Notre Dame de Paris is very good. Of course, original versions are the best. But I'm proud for russian version :)
I love the original, but when I found Hungarian I was tremendously impressed for their "own approach" to this musical ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cVWzQoYeg-A.html
So I really love and appreciate multilanguage videos, thanks to them I discovered so many great RetJ performances. However, I'm a bit confused and angry when I read the comment sections under these kind of videos because I don't understand why people who dislike a particular performance automatically say that it is awful. I mean... sure, I also have my own preferences but I still wouldn't say that to any version especially if I haven't even watched it. I think every one of them are unique, special with their own strengths and weaknesses, and they should all be respected. :)
I don't think it was a good idea to include the the rap part here of the Hungarian version because it's clearly unique to that version, other versions don't have it. You should've cut in some other part, which is more identical to the other versions.
The Hungarian version is much more dynamic, bolder, more modern and youthful than the others. Watch the full song: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cVWzQoYeg-A.html Who cares about the original if the new is really good? Original...Do you think, that Shakespeare wrote R&J to sing? You interpret it as you wish! Don't be obscurantist!
Japanese version is done in takarazuka style. Takarazuka is only women theatre where girls are divided into two groups since they enrol into the takarazuka school: Girls who will play very girly roles, and girls who will play only men roles.
The Hungarian part of the play chosen wasn't the same as the part in the other languages. Most of the others were the same part so they can be compared to each other. The same song was really good in the Hungarian version too! And the singers weren't catching their breath while running all over the stage (French actors were just walking on the stage).
