I love the way Larry & Lau have become more transparent in their 30's. They feel every emotion yet they are exceptional givers. This is the brilliance & magic of Les Twins changing people's lives every day.
les twins are two of the last examples of what real men are supposed to be, made with love and given to the world as a gift straight from God whether you believe in the lord or not, no judgement, love is what matters most in the world, understanding, peace and good intentions and these two men embody that with every fibre of their being. They dance like they would die if they stopped, they love people as if everyone was their own family or child, they give back to the community like they've seen the end of the world. I apreaciate, admire and respect them both and their mother so much for the sacrifices, struggle and heartache they must have endured. I am a fan and i am striving to be just a little bit of what they are every day, i hope you are too. Much love to whoever reads this, thank you for being you.
This is what made me fall in love with the twins in the first place, not only their dance but their morals and and attitude towards life it's so damn beautiful 😭

A documentary would be a fantastic way to share their message and show where they came from and how they got where they are today. 2024 watching from the UK at age 67 .
I'm French, 24 years l dealing with personality disorder and bipolar disorder even before I was diagnosed Lau and Larry became like my medecin it was the first time I cried watching someone dance. I can't still today explain what they making me feel. I cried again not even later then last night THANKS to them because it feels good to cry when you need it. I was lucky enough to meet Laurent and it was the most beautiful day of my life he was so attentionate and I still feel the warmth of his hugs, still waiting to meet them both and tell them how much they means to me
On another note, shout out to Larry's hair stylist who meticulously braided his gorgeous hair, showcasing brilliant artwork. Lau, I'm loving you bringing your signature afro back around. It's simply beautiful, just like you. Nothing but love for you both! que Dieu vous benisse tous les deux!
This was therapy for Laurent. They have shared aspects of their lives before but this seemed more intense than Lau or Larry has shared in one sitting before. It’s like Lau needed to get that off his chest.
Always good with their interviews! Larry's statement @ 19:30 is deep. "...no father. Tried to kill us many times, but now he, uh, he's good where he's at." Laurent was caught off-guard by that admission. It made me think of the Google Hangout video where Laurent explains the scar on Larry's face was from a fall, with his face bleeding. Larry said, "We don't have a daddy from this moment." Then the next statement is about them being in a coma [Larry in pain, Laurent in shock]. Tough lives often strengthen us... thank God.
I didn't get that timing when Larry did say he has no daddy. I was trying to figure out what did that have to do with the fall especially since both of them said the scar happened while playing basketball. That threw me for a loop.

God knew exactly what to do giving us art and more importantly, Les Twins. You know that there is so much healing in expressing emotions that we can't say out loud. Everyone goes through hard times. Many times people go through things that aren't easy to talk about. Art will always help to get the emotions out. These 2 geniuses were truly born to help heal the world. I pray for their longevity, I know I sure need them around. Just 🔥 🔥
I love they way they always say, no we don't want to tell you how we came up, then tell you how they came up ! Just listening to their life experiences is inspiring. And Mama B, bless her, my gran was the same ! Taking the free bread from the table, in case someone was hungry later on. But they never answer the question. They never get to the point, but that's part of their charm. Poor Larry didn't get a look in, Lau loves the sound of his own voice, but it's nearly always Larry that speaks at their workshops. Love them to bits, and love the direction they are taking their lives and their career now. Such wonderful men.
I agree with your comment. They get sidetracked a lot. I felt like because the other ppl in the room shared their stories it moved Lau for sure to take about their life. I kept saying now what does that have to do with dance & mental health.. l guess the answer is it’s a release if you open yourself to it.. that’s what l think l got out of this🥴🥴💕💕🤣🤣
My interpretation of their conversation and not answering directly is that when they are talking about their lives, they, and people in general, who have had some significant traumatic experiences, will in a public setting feel safe to share small situations that have affected them. In their case, i feel that there are much larger scenarios of trauma that they have experienced, and may never share with the public because that would overshadow their divine mission to heal others. What you see in this video, is conversation that heals them.
@@shell-shellj1403 I believe this is what the goal if just 1 of them is talking about what trouble you go or gone through in your life and bringing people together to open up. What I am questioning is when Lau said why we called it RISE Ghana ((if I understood him right) but then said "he didn't want to fall in love". Did I hear that right, if so, I didn't understand that part meaning what it has to do with this titled event?

Like falling down, or tripping into love. Rising in love sounds like growing in love or intentionally rising up with someone. JMO.
Shout out to Momma B. She's so adorable. Thank you for our gorgeous twins! Wow, so the plot thickens. That's why the owner of the restaurant where Larry had his first job yelled @ him & embarrassed him saying he was acting like he didn't know what he was doing. That was a bold move & Lau's part. Thank God it paid off, but can you just imagine Larry saying no, that was my twin brother. It wasn't me & that must be when the owner said call your brother & Laurént cursed out the owner for humiliating his brother.
No wonder they are so fearless. I GET IT NOW! Wow! So much more impressed by them. Good going Lau pretending to be your brother and getting him fired to bring him along with your dream of becoming world renowned dancers. Well done! No you’re not. They revealed a lot in this video. I learned they were abused by their father and none of their siblings grew up with a father around. My heart goes out to them. Through it all GOD blessed them with the gift of dance and continues to bless them everyday. ❤❤

Not at all, Larry is also very confortable talking about those times growing up juat as Laurent! It's just in which video it's Laurent who took over rhe conversation , but in other video it's Larry who took over the conversation and talk about their times growing up. I was at their Lastest workshops in Paris in which Larry makes an very emotional about their past to us. He explained how they grow up very poor with their mama who raised them alone and how it's was difficult for them in school and dance was their happiness etc...The video is on IG, many people posted it!
@Diana Dior Yes!, Larry's always been comfortable speaking on personal/family issues. Not everything, of course, there has to be some privacy they can maintain. Laurent was totally private about his daughter where Larry was totally open. And, yeah, Larry told that story about the meal at a friend's, publicly, before Laurent did. There are a lot of stories in a life. On this video though, Larry even touches on horrendous behavior by their father. I don't expect anyone to share that much of themselves so what either decides to share, or not share, is good with me. Their talent is enough. 🤲🏼

But always remember where you are going!''...Now that you've mentioned their father's bad behavior, I think that's the main topic both are not comfortable talking about! And every time they say something about him, it's never good! I remember when they said ''Larry fell when they were kids and was bleeding, and Laurent passed out when he saw that. And since that moment, they no longer have a father.'' So many of us wonder if their father had anything to do with that horrible thing that happened to Larry! I remember Larry was on live on IG and told us to ask him whatever we want to know and he'll answer Everything! And he shared so much of his life with us that day like an open book! He mentioned something about therapy, and a bold fan asked him if it was because what is father did to him in the past? He didn't say anything, but his reaction says it all! His face literally changed and he was silent for a while, then said "Next question"! We all respected that and no one asked about it again... Their gift and love for people has made room for them to change the world and provide for their family. I love them so much and had a chance to meet them in Feb 2020 at one of their workshops in Paris. They were warm loving and kind. Such an inspiration to many. Thanks for sharing this video. God Bless

This was about mental health and Les Twins were right on target! Could you not feel the anguish, anger and trauma behind what they were saying. People not believing in you, in your dreams. Dancing on the streets to get money. Abuse from father. Being a young parent at first with very little resources. Do you not see the mental trauma they have endured? Their hurt, their pain?
When I feel like a one woman party my go to is of course Les Twins. I learn from them how to keep being fluid in my dance ,and free. I enjoy who they are as human beings, and ill always have them in my heart a true fan I am. 💘

When I was introduced to Les Twins I was blown away. The passion, and dedication the love and showmanship is amazing. I realized after watching them for the first time that the way they dance,feel,express music is how I feel,see,dance my passion for dance, and music I see in them
These beautifully intelligent dancing beast who have taken the world by storm before, after their winning performance at World of Dance. As can been seen and/or felt Larry isn't as comfortable as Laurent is talking about those times growing up. Although #Blaze must remember each of those hardships endured (not only them but anyone) has helped shape them into the beast they are of today. I have been watching Lestwins videos for on a short time but I love them to death. I love that they share a bond that can never be broken that was formed in there mom womb. Larry who is the oldest between him and Lau will alway do his role as the oldest brother. He will protect Lau and take care of him forever because he really love his little brother. Not saying that Lau will not do the same for Larry. I have never seen yet one video where someone is taken care of Lau besides Larry. What I love ❤ about them they don’t let no one come between them nor do you see them fighting in public like other people that is famous. I mean they fight like brothers but, that what siblings do in real life. When Larry says that Lau is his baby he is telling the truth. The bond and love ❤they have for each other is so strong that I don’t see any one coming between these two guys. I can’t even see a woman coming or breaking up there strong bond that they have for each in this world. There bond and love is stronger then a marriage couple. These guys are multi talented and will go far on their journey. They like to share their talents in dance with others and is not selfish. They do give back to their community. I love their vibe and connection that nobody else can copy. They are two of a kind twins. My God continue to bless them and my 2023 be and awesome year for them both ❤❤❤.

I was a little fan traumatized by finding out Lauren admitted to having a child. He said he didn't a few times. I'm sure he has his reasoning why. That girl looks just like him. Love you Laurent and M.B.
