Larry and Laurent have what I like to call 'twilepathy'. I don't think their moves are always rehearsed. Sometimes it seems like they instinctively know how each other is going to move (a combination of being twins and dancing together for so many years). I'm not sure I've ever seen a pair of twins who are obviously so close and so in tuned with each other. It's amazing to not only watch them dance, but also how they behave with each other.
The twins are talented...both of them. But, lets get real here...Laurent slayed this contest with "The Jerk". That performance gave them the win because OldFuture was on their asses throughout. Laurent saved the day.
What I've noticed in this video: @7:40, Larry tells his components to listen to the beat, then @7:49 Larry wonders how the white guy can't hear the other instruments in the song. @8:02 he tries to help the guy "LISTEN" to the song by demonstrating some moves to Busta's voice, then he realizes he's not catching on to the high beep sounds in the song, so he hits the floor in frustration, because he knows that he could easily DESTROY this beat @8:09 and 8:17. Lastly, @8:44-8:55, he tries to demonstrate once more for the guy to catch on, which never ends up happening lol
First time Ive seen Les Twins get properly challenged, and they looked genuinely worried, right up until Laurent killed it with "you're a jerk"... But hats off to Old Future, they brought some good moves to the battle!!!
Ok I am a HUGE Les Twins fan and of course they dominated but this is the first time I've seen them battle anyone even close to their level, so props to oldfuture, seriously. Those guys were good too.
@Loviset Agreed!! I think having the same build and being so ridiculously in sync with each other adds another WOW factor. They can be so uniform, it's like you're watching one person sometimes.
What a great battle. I like how the oldfuture crew doesn't fear the battle and continues with sick moves.. but they didn't had a chance against the Twins ((: Much respect from germany!
I guess it's just their style. Once you've adapted to your own style, there's only a couple of ways that you can evolve/advance it to the next level, but, Les Twins are so advanced already that I don't see them changing at all. That being said, I like them right where they are. Overall amazing dancers and performers.
My Lord have Mercy on my soul! PlayMoveLaugh I have to agree with you too. I nearly had a heart attack when they were deciding! That was by far the most insane dance battle I've ever seen! 6:24, Les Twins. Dope!
Les Twins are really awesome! The way they act together is inimitable! It doesn't matter what beat they have to dance to, they are just killin' it! But don't forget to accent Oldfuture! They are doin' a very good job 2, dancin' amazing and kickin' some awesome moves! Very nice battle! Respect to all 4 of them, holla!
LOVE how Lau comes in for Your A Jerk...there arent ENOUGH WORDS to describe how SICK Les Twins are....i just wanna see them dance ONCE... that entire piece of Jerk for them is INSANE!! HARDBODY!
When the jerk came on it was over the twins are very very talented. Now for the other two dancers wow they went toe to toe with the twins and they were bad as in good I would like to see more on those two guys they did a great job.
Larry messed up big time, made laurent use his power moves in the first song and he got lucky lucky with the 2nd song since he knew it well and worked on it before. Thank god larry delivered in the final. It was destiny to win this competition.
who else loves the fact that the twins know this song so well @7:44 that the whole time the dude is dancing there making little movements like they should have gotten this song xD
Oldfuture crew is no where near Le Twins musicality and in my opinion musicality wins in a battle. Good moves but weak musicality from Oldfuture that being said still a really nice battle.
