Lesbian Sydney in the 1990 

This talk delves into the library’s collection of Wicked Women and LOTL magazines to consider the role that these magazines played in connecting and building Sydney’s lesbian community. Dr Sophie Robinson explores the magazines, their content, outreach and readership, as well as the archives themselves which illuminate the immense work (and legacies) of developing community led publications so that they would be representative of the increasingly diverse lesbian community in Sydney and wider Australia.
