Actually schizophrenia is socially influenced, at least based on what the voices tend to tell you and how they tend to be viewed by the person suffering from schizophrenia. So cultures where the idea of hearing voices isn't outright condemned (some eastern religions, ancestor worship, and undeveloped Christian regions) might view the voices positively and have much more positive hallucinations (eg. not horrible violent advice or comfort).
@@ClareAmel I personally thought Ari would've liked neither; she was just romanticizing abuse, which is surprisingly common for people her age. Once she actually got in an abusive relationship, she realized they suck, obviously.
The saddest part is Nicole is so real that Emily stopped taking her meds so she can be her real self with Nicole which unfortunately made her lose her mind.

Also “psychopath” isnt an official diagnosis, Emily probably has conduct disorder (especially since its common with adhd and shes prescripted with adderal.) anyways sorry to be a smartass, carry on.
This was easily my favorite ending out of both games. The end video paired with the message from Emily you read in the main menu really hit me for some reason. I know they're all terrible people but Emily deserved better 😢
i wish nicole cut emily’s pills too and there was an aftermath of this. like they make their point but don’t die and then emily goes back on meds and is thankful she didn’t die but they both still kinda stuck it to the system.

this is gonna sound really fucking crazy but like this game reminds me of my elementary school experience without all the drugs and maybe the sex i went to a really really classist school in mexico, every1 there was so fucking crazy, some girl in 4th grade got jumped by a group of girls, like they knocked her to the ground and started kicking the shit out of her!!! a really fucked up thing that happened in 6th grade was on my 12th birthday party, 2 kids went off on their own to some other place and a parent found them making out on the grass and it caused this huge scandal, like friendships between parents were ruined!! and we were all like 13 years old!!!!!! the school was right next to a church too! oh and theres like also the part where i was getting bullied so much to the point where my parents had to threaten the school with a lawsuit because the teachers werent doing shit. so anyways, that's probably why i have a fear of being with girls i dont know, like i get really uncomfortable and scared thats kinda fucked up now that i think about it man fuck this send comment
Imagine being Emily and waiting on the other side, just for no to show up. I guess they both woke up alone. Nicole finally found a friend that understood her, but doesn’t care enough about anything to follow through. Now their friendship is spilt between the planes of the living and the dead.
if the third game will ever be a thing, i just want emily to be a central focus she's honestly a really interesting character who only has like 1 route dedicated to her

@@bigclitenergy Because she's the deuteragonist(second main character) so if a sequel centered around a character other than Nicole, then it would most likely be about Jecka. And who's to say there isn't interesting stuff to share about her. We could learn more about her outlook on the world, and her family life, and her views on men and how they differ from Nicole. We could also see the mindset that lead her to become a white nationalist, and maybe even give her a chance to redeem herself and not be racist. Who knows? There's lots to discover about Jecka.

Jecka is a flat character, it doesn't mean she's a bad one but you "get the idea" on what she's all about pretty quickly not much to be discovered then

@user-ne9rc1yl8s she isn't saying anything deep... most well known artists were mentally ill nutjobs (Kurt Cobain, van Gogh, etc) that killed themselves and some people claim that you have to be on the verge of suicide to produce anything "meaningful". Which of course isn't true.
okay, orv fan and avid writer, and I kinda liked emily's speech here. dark poets, artists, and storytellers always tells the best stories and presents the best art i've ever seen. dazai osamu etc etc. people who tells great stories are allergic to happiness. avogado6 too, my favorite artist. the awesome song makers of the vocaloid industry, wowoka, etc etc. which brings me to ORV. such an amazing story that in my personal opinion, nothing can compare. its not a happy story, yet its so beautifully written. the reader, who later becomes a writer, is suicidal. now, i feel like i found my meaning of art. art is a pursuit of the will to live in a world that wants you gone. smth like that. a mindless, chaotic chase with just a hazy goal in mind. i think this might be why i find more of a beauty in a messy style. a harmony in the mess. emily brought up so many valid points that i just wholeheartedly agree with. class of 09 is truly such a good game/story

@@twist_ending7545 part of me still questions if it was her base survival instincts trying to tell her this is a bad idea but since she wants to be her full self with Nicole she thinks that not letting go of her inhibitions would be like lying to her Or Her voices realized very quickly that if she did that they would vanish so they are desperately trying to reverse schizo her into recovery like a fucked up version of "inside out"
Fucking imagine if THIS was the first video i got on class of 09 on my YT recommended… would i have gotten more into it… hm😂 But yeah this ending is beautifully tragic, especially if you read that text message… I don’t feel sympathy for the characters actions but I certainly do for the shitty situations they were placed in that made them the way they are
