Facts.... His change of direction was generational. We dont see anyone do that in the NFL today. Not Jonathan Taylor, Saquon Barkley, Bijan Robinson, Christian McCaffrey, Derrick Henry, Breece Hall, Alvin Kamara, NONE OF THEM shift and change direction like Shady McCoy did
But he's not lying, the instincts that he had on the field you can't teach them! You either have those type of instincts or you don't!!! The running backs that were named were all good, but none of them had a career better than LeSean McCoy!!!
@@gsd.groovy561 282 carries, 1753 yards, 28 touchdowns, 6.2 ypc, 27 receptions, 355 yards, 13.1 ypr stop sucking dick and watch the games he was better in college willis was better

@@PeruvianProteinPowder oh idk literally anything besides what the video actually said 🫤 I mean if you look through the comments is not full of people repeating what was said in the video .
His shiftiness was Barry level for sure. And he stayed healthy consistently for his career. Numbers over a period of time is important. How long can you stay healthy and be productive on the field.
@BLKnowledgeborn I said his family is from NY. His Uncle (RIP) WAS AND HIS FATHER RON MCCOY ARE FROM NY. I TALKED WITH THE MAN EVERY DAY AT WORK. I know he went to Harrisburg. Played little league for the New Cumberland Saints. Then went to McDevitt high school on Market st in Harrisburg which they moved the high school years ago to a different location close to Londonderry township. Please. Chill out. I know his family. Even went to see LaRon play at IUP😉
Fun fact: Clinton Portis 9202 yds in his first 7 seasons would rank him 10th ALL TIME. If injuries didn't derail Portis' career, he may run for over 15,000 yds.
Mccoy, Barry, Warrick Dunn, the most shifty dudes I've seen. Dude played for the Steelers for years and then i think the jets, name escape me at this moment but he was the calmest with the most patience i ever seen. Kamara from NO patient with the best balance i ever seen. To me everybody else are combinations of each other.
What he did in Denver was crazy work. If he stayed in Denver he would have broke all kinds of records. Dude was averaging 5.5 yards per run in Denver. Once he joined the Redskin he dropped down to 4.0 yards per run.
Portis was nice in Denver because of that line and coaching scheme you put shady in that system is averaging 7.5 yards a rush and Portis was dead nice 👍🏾 but I’m taking shady crazy work!!!
Yea the Skins ran a power run scheme as opposed to denvers cut back blocking, Portis was a cutback runner, better fit in Denver, but loved him as a Redskin
If Willis Maghee never had that devastating injury in college, he would have had a hall of fame career in the NFL. He was a man amongst boys in college dominant.
First time I heard this all I heard was "crazy work." But after listening to shady even more he's right. "You won't see another guy like me for 12 years." We haven't seen someone like him since.
@@StephenHunt-po5qkleveon was nice but he didn’t run like shady, bell was so good because how he let the defense crash in and he could see the holes open up. Guys like shady, cj2k, and Jamall Charles had those “BOP BOP BOP” feet, one cut and we out, paint time
Naw portis couldn't do what McCoy does but McCoy could do what portis did...McCoy spent the bulk of his career with no one in front of him. No lead block with a stacked box ...McCoy was different just didn't get the recognition he deserved
@qualiswilliams7403 you clearly never seen portis play for Denver. Before redski s wanted him to be a power back. He was fast af and shifty. Portis is way better than McCoy. That's like saying Emmitt Smith os better than Barry Sanders. It's insulting to people who know the RB position and played it.
As a Giants fan… yeah I hated what he did to us in the NFC. Bro was super nasty. Only issues I saw with him was he carried the ball real loose because of of his movement… Chip Kelly a whole dumbass though for getting rid of him. He was perfect in that system they would have won the SB a lot sooner with that roster.
He's not a legend. Let's calm down with these words y'all just casually throw out now. He was a top tier back in his time with Philly but it didn't last long.
@@mpound97Eagles ALL TIME LEADING RUSHER and only played there for 6-7 years bro stand down over 10k career rushing yds u gotta be on the short bus my guy
@@mpound97Riiiiight. Legend & Great are two of the most fkn overrated & overused words in sports convos. If this guy is a legend- what is Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Eric Dickerson, Bo Jackson, Earl Campbell, Walter Payton.... i could keep going but u get the idea.
@@JoiRandomwtf are you talking about. They’re both elite running backs, look up the stats. I know stats aren’t the whole picture but you are absolutely buggin rn. Seriously you need your drink checked too
Shady was dope but the dudes he mentioned were just as good it's a preference. Gore portis were dogs so was shady i personally would take curtis Martin and dorsett over him he's 3rd best outta pitt
Thank you!!! Then came here to the bum ass redskins who owner wouldn’t get a offensive line for shit and possibly one of the best backfield blockers who wasn’t a fullback
Exactly that mans ego to high he is not top 5 rb in the past 30 years check what he is drinking i love how portis name didn’t even come out his mouth he tripping harder than epstein
Portis was forced to style switch, (and that probably led to injuries). If he was allowed to start how he was with the broncos at 195-205 while running 4.2, he’d probably have eclipsed shady because his vision was crazy and he could plant a foot and take off in a blink. Washington made him bulk up to 225 and then he became more traditional, pound it out style.
Shady was different my dude. Shady was the best running back to elude defenders outside of Barry Sanders. U can't coach what shady brings to the table.
@@ericjones6651 you’re not wrong. I am by no means saying LT isn’t shifty obviously he’s a great back but Shady was on another level in terms of elusiveness. LT the better all around back by a mile though.
Shady was him! That dudes elusiveness was like none other. Him and Barry were the two hardest guys to tackle in the open fields, both would shake you out yo shoes
