played this guy in school... i thought they were illegally playing a full grown man he was fucken huge even for 17!! then i thought they were illegally playing animals in their team cause he just straight horse style ran over me and my team hooving and trampling us like nothing. He was the man especially when he was playing Footy Rugby League. He was a smaller Lomu props hard
Love how in some of these plays he does he says that it's unbelievable what he can do! It's not unbelievable it's just league players! They are so much better than the fat messes in union that can't catch or pass!
Shame that all this footage is after he switched codes to "kick and clap". A shadow of the monster that prowled the wing at the Bradford Bulls in his prime.
At scholl atlethics he was a sight. 200m comin around the bend and completely overpowering the competition. Looked majestic and surreal. Real big strides
Remember his first game for Bradford Bulls, away at castelford, pre season friendly i think. Even then he was scary. he had everything, size, power, speed, aggression, knew where the line was.
Look up some of his tries for the Bradford Bulls Rugby League, I remember one time he ran from the half way line with 4 men on his back to score in the corner.
if the superleague is better than nrl, then why is that the new zealand and the australia teams absolutely shit on everybody else? therefore shouldnt the nrl be the best league in the world for having the better players?
@z0mgrugbyreturns i'm not sure about great - he never really shone in the NRL, and did nothing on the (admittedly low key) international scene. for me he was still at the top of his game when he quit Bradford - he scored 5 tries in his first game in Union. countless times he has stated he still loves League, still watches Bradford etc. I think he still had a lot to offer!
i dont get why he isnt involved with england anymore he is way better than banahan and manu tuilagi, i just hope that the new england coach sees the quality in him
@duncandohnut1993 lomu is somewhat a few years back. I am talking in terms of "same-time" these two guys ( Lesley and Alesana) are playing in todays rugby world. Lomu is abit faded.
What utter crap... He was arguably the greatest winger in Rugby league history for sheer brute strength. Didnt do too bad in union neither. Imagine him and tuilagi on same as wing and centre.
The only guy whom i can say can compete with Alesana Tuilagi for speed and bosh power. Wow. Never knew these guys existed. Welcome to my click of superstars!
