Leslie Jones notes white folks' fearlessness at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, CA. SHOW TIX: bit.ly/95r2E0 Follow us: / thelaughfactory Like us: / laughfactory
Hypocrisy mostly. Do I see the humor here? Yes. Do I think she was particularly good at the comedy? No. I laughed, but I believe a less erratic personality could have delivered the jokes much better. However, do I think the funniest thing here is that she wanted to get a person from the LGBT community banned from Twitter for doing the very same thing, except aimed at her specifically? Quite funny indeed.
Heather Spoonheim or talking about their vagina. I'm looking at you Amy Shucmer . It'd be different if they mixed it up but nope she just goes on and on about her vagina. It's like "We get it. You have a vagina"
But men do relationship comedy too. See, the problem is you view as a stereotype when it comes out of the mouth of a woman and so your reaction is negative. But based on all my favorite male and female comedians, it doesn’t seem to be a topic of choice in a greater degree in either gender.
Yeah that's a myth. It was probably looking for body heat so it can digest what it's already eaten. They are ambush predators, why would they measure something like that? They don't have time.
+Mister Happy actually this person is making a valid point. Because if you open your mind, it's likely that there are more women like Leslie Jones. If there is one exception to a rule, you search for more exceptions. That's how you be open-minded. You'd be a shit mathematician or scientist.
Shit, she lowkey should have been cast on the show! I hope she does weekend update or something. Her humor reminds me of something of a female Dave Chapelle.
Firstly: i dont understand how anyone can hate on someone who is funny. They are the nicest people out there. Second: double standards.... nope. the best comedians use observational comedy, making fun of whats seen.... nothing about race, yes she said white people.... friggin funny... but she also said about her big ass feet etc.... its very rarely what is said that causes upset only the intention and way it is said.... right here she is funny... so chill, get popcorn and laugh.... trust me, its more fun.
I worked at an aquarium, and as much as I hate to generalize, the "black people don't mess with animals" line was too real 😂 (with exceptions, obviously)
"I love white people" >everyone laughs Does anyone in this audience know what comedy is? At least wait for the punchline before you nervously laugh out of obligation.
it's hit or miss for me with leslie jones. sometimes she kills me on snl, sometimes it falls flat. sometimes she kills me in stand up, sometimes it's not funny at all. also ghostbusters was shit lmao.
I heart black people, Leslie. Right back atcha:) For real. You know why? Because you ain't afraid to say what is on your mind. Trump got that from YOU, girl. Nobody else. Take some credit.
Hannah Lee is right on the money. Blake Montenegro needs to check himself. Once you acknowledge your sexist mindset you can hopefully work on not being sexist.
It's because you are male and most female comics material is aimed at women. This makes it harder to relate to for men and same goes for women and male comics. It has nothing to do with being sexist.
Reminds me of my favorite police blotters headline. 'MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES OF MOLESTING ALLIGATORS' yes it was a white man. And yes it was in Florida.
Stereotyping is not the same as racism honey. These jokes do not carry YEARS of oppression behind them. They're just offensive to a few. Saying white ppl like animals is not the same as calling a woman an ape or saying she looks like a man.
Kakto Tak Some jokes have only been said recently, some jokes have a history behind them. For instance, racist jokes come forth from the racism that has been happening for centuries, and thus they carry all those years of racism in the jokes. So everytime someone tells that 'joke' it reminds everyone of those years of oppression while perpetuating it
"he's not a bathroom lion" That part was funny. I feel like the rest of this bit was spoiled by the race part. All sorts of people do mountain biking and extreme sports. To label white people is unnecessary simply because the majority of people in the US are white.
Skitty BigBum Oh, I wasn't aware Leslie worked for Twitter. But no, Milo broke Twitter's terms of service. And since they're a private company and we live in a free market, it's objectively a good thing (according to Milo).
She is only saying the majority of Blacks, Mexican, & Asians are not riding bikes in the mountains. And whites have not been the majority for years, ask Mexi
@@thecatface8255 Not the Majority probably never was until L came from another planet and took over. But never the majority because the women are so busy having babies with every other race. That makes all new babies of the world black or Spanish
Coochy coochy coo 😂😂 my dad once had a alligator in his pool when I was a kid. I was fighting for my tight to keep him, tried getting in the pool I fancied myself abit of a Steve Erwin at that time... Dad clipped me round the head, "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING? ARE YOU STUPID! ... dad he's not gonna hurt anyone, I can sense he's OK with me being close to him....
You are so bling. The " I love white people " part. We need to not see each as colors. Imagine the chaos if I said " I love black people. Ya'll are awesome".
Danny Paul So if I said I love guys, does that mean I hate people of my own gender or people who don't conform to a sexual orientation? If I said I love doctors, does that mean that I'm prejudiced to every other profession? Yes, it would be nice if people stopped seeing each other as colours, but let's be realistic: that's never going to happen. You just think it's racist because the word "black"/"white" is in the sentence. But it really isn't.
I laughed so hard I cried, thanks..much needed on a shitty day..Leslie's beautiful and talented, makes tons of $ too. We need to stop trying to destroy each other, show more love..it will come back to you.
