I fell asleep on Xmas night, deeply satisfied by a hearty Xmas meal. In my dreams, I believed I was the original author of Lord of the Rings, and that I had always written Leslie Nielsen as the main character. Sadly, when I awoke, I realised that I was just Tolkien in my sleep.

Leslie Nielsen was a "serious" actor for decades, as many people I'm sure know, and so one night I watched _Forbidden Planet_ (1956) to see him jokeless for comparison. Of all the 1950s Classic Sci-Fi Films I've seen, that was all of them.
