Hi Oline! 💙 thanks for your vlog. I really enjoyed it! 🥰 I have knitted the Guernsey Pullover from Sandnes Garn for my boyfriend in Tynn Peer Gynt (one strand). It was also very new to me and at first I was not sure if this was the right yarn choice because to me it didn't have this typical wooly feeling to it. But I gave it a chance 😊 I am very pleased with the result. It turned into a light sweater which keeps my boyfriend warm but not too much as maybe another sweater with a thicker yarn would do. He likes it too ☺️I would call myself a fairly slow and tight knitter but even with this thiner yarn and slightly rustic touch to it, it knitted up quite fast and it didn't hurt my fingers or anything. I hope this helped maybe a bit. 🙂 janina ❤

Hi Oline.. I love all your projects and all your new wool.. I s the sands garn outlet in Sandnes near Stavanger because hopefully I'm coming to visit my friend in Stavanger later this year and I would love to visit the outlet.

Hi! Thank you❤️ Sandnes is pretty close to Stavanger. It's about a 20 minute drive from Stavanger City to Sandnes Garn. I hope you'll get to visit the factory outlet❤️

The yarn didn't really take up yo much space😅 The dog was back home, she doesn't love riding in the car, so for such a long trip, she was better off at home🥰 She was at a kennel❤️

@@norwegianknitter so you could have shopped for more yarn lol. Oh i understand not wanting to take your GS on that long trip. We drove my sons dog back in 17 hours straight. Not fun with 2 dogs 🐕 lol.

Yes, petiteknit has one Agnete Cardigan in Poppy! I already have an Agnete Cardigan, and I don't think I'm going to be making another one😅

I just love starting off my Thursday mornings watching one of your midweek vlogs while knitting and drinking my morning coffee. They give me such inspiration for the day and as always I love seeing your family as well. Just so excited for you that you took advantage of being in Sandnes and purchased all of the fabulous yarn. It sounds like you really want to cast on the Ingrid sweater in that beautiful red, so I say go for it now!🙂

I am so jealous of your visit to Sandnes Garn, The joy on your face when sitting with all your new treasure was fun to see. I have peer Gynt in Poppy (I love the color) also and have been trying to decide what to make. I might just follow your lead and knit whatever you decide!

Every knitter should get the opportunity to visit Sandnes Garn once!! My yarn really is my treasure🤩 I think I'm going to knit the Ingrid Sweater in the Poppy colored Peer Gynt. I just can't get the idea out of my head🙈

I know you have tried the Sandnes Garn felted slipper socks in the past and are keen to have another attempt. I have just watched the latest 'Two Purls in a Pod' knitting podcast.. She's made a few and has shared her experience and knowledge. It may be worth checking it out sometime when you get chance

Your son is a beautiful boy! It’s not surprising with you being such a gorgeous Nordic beauty. You are just naturally pretty. I think the pink/brown yarn we call “mauve” in the USA. Any of the yarn Would look good on you and your son. Seeing your son ski was very entertaining. I love your podcast and wish I could tell everyone how nice it is to watch. I hope you aren’t tired of hearing from me. I cannot help but comment on almost every episode.

I usually get my drops yarn online, but there are a few yarn stores in Oslo that sells drops yarn! "Tjorven As" seems like a good one!

I paid 220NOK (19,36 Euro) for 1kilo for the Peer Gynt/Tynn Peer Gynt, and 280NOK (24,64 Euro) for 1kilo of double Sunday

@@norwegianknitter - WOW iI't crazy...... I wish I could get some too ...:) Here in Canada retail price before taxes would be 1684.35 NKO ( 147,92 euro ) for 1 kilo of Double Sunday. Yarn is so expensive, it's refraining us to have too many dream knits :) Enjoy every minute of it.

@@TheMigcha Retail price here is about the same! I don't usually have the money to be able to knit with Sandnes Garn's yarn, but their outlet prices are crazy low!
