Man, so weird to listen to him talk about Southeast Asia. Hanoi. Unbelievable city. My favorite I’ve ever been to. Indonesia. Lived there for 12 years. He’s right on - way slower and quieter pace of life for the most part (Jakarta and other big cities are obviously noisy and chaotic at times). I travel for a completely different purpose - to see nature and to test myself - but when it brings you up close to different cultures, it is a cool thing indeed.
