You can start with any flute which is comfortable for you to begin with. Important thing is the flute should be in tune. we are planning to make a details video regarding this point, for any question please mail us at easyfluteschool@gmail.com.
Pranaam, I bought a flute today after watching your first and second lessons. You are my flute guru now. Please bless me that I can learn from your lessons. I am starting very late in life but hoping grace will flow to me through the flute of Lord Krishna and your blessings.
Oh my gosh this is a beautiful series of lessons. My instructor passed recently - I was learning sitar with her - but she said I should learn flute because I was originally a western flute player. I purchased my bansuri, and then she passed due to COVID. I am lost without my instructor now - my music was not only my life but my connection with divine and spirituality - however, your videos have gotten me out of my depression and to pick up my flute once again. My sitar sits lonely still, but perhaps one day I will have the heart to pick it up again...but there are too many memories of sitting across from guruji as she taught me and it sort of breaks my heart. Starting fresh with the flute feels like a breath of fresh air. Thank you for these videos. I sincerely look forward to watching through all of them, and perhaps one day if you accept new students I could study with you :)
Yes you are right... I was getting wrong tutorial.. I was not able to blow air.. When I saw him and used this technique.. Just now I am able to blow very nicely.. Thank you sir

5 myths to break before you learn flute 1) You don't need a guru if you don't find one. Don't end up choosing a bad master 2) Flute playing is naturally inherited in us, it's all about blowing, placing your fingers, and just little constant practice 3) Never compare yourself with anyone 4) You don't need a traditional method to learn flute 5 ) Never be a perfectionist
Sir I am also 62 and fond of flute playing. Need your kind support for betterment. Can I send some recent clip for your comments. If yes, please give your whatsapp number for attachment. Thanks and regards Anil Agrawal

Dear Murtaza Kabir Murad Sir, Namaste from India... I got inspired to learn how to play flute and bought a G-scale flute. I found everyone saying that flute is the toughest of all musical instruments, but I really love the way you make it sound that it is "very very easy"...it is immensely encouraging for beginners like me!! Thank you for every single video of yours! I searched a lot on RU-vid and found your videos "the best of all"!! Hats off to you Sir for the beautiful way you are inspiring beginners like me!! Thank you very much!!!
We prefer a G or G# Bass. You may visit nearest music shop for a beginner flute. After practicing for some days, search for a well-tuned flute. thanks.

We are overwhelmed by your comment! Guruji is so happy by knowing your feeling. We feel proud to do this tutorials because you people love it so much. We all pray to the almighty for your father. Keep playing. LOVE!
small flute have sound with higher pitch, big flute have sound of lower pitch. this applies to all instruments (eg, piccolo=high pitch, contrabass=low pitch)
Sir luckily I do not have very small fingers so I can play base flutes and I like their sound very much but I request you to please tell me a flute scale which is very sweet sounding, warm but not too shrill. I hope you will reply soon.
Actually it depends on many factors such as the player himself, the type of composition, individual taste etc. So it is tough to recommend a single flute in general. For classical music, we prefer E Bass. a G Bass is also nice, for starting we suggest a G# Bass. you can pick any of them and try yourself. Thanks.
Flute is my favourite musical instrument ❤️.and I also want to learn it. Your guidance really helpful sir...I definitely try it...Love from all INDIAN 🇮🇳.🌹🌹
Thank you for your lessons! I just have one question. I have a flute with 4 holes at the top and one on the bottom (other side) of the flute. I'm sure lot's of advice used here could be transferred to mine. But just wondering maybe it would be better to get exactly the one which is used in the video, or is it ok to practice with the one I have. Maybe in the later lessons 6 holes on the flute become very important? Thank you!
Sir, I am yakshitha from india and my bansuri has 8 holes and I don't know how to hold it.It is very hard and I hold blow and make sound easily, but it is hard to focus on both blowing and holding
🙂👍👏Great working sir...I m srushti...😇I m really blessed to have such a guru🙏...sir plz can u upload video on how to move and slide the fingers during playing meend and gamak...👍🏻it would be much helpful for us to learn....🙏thank u sir for teaching us with simple and ease✌️... waiting for your reply sir...🤞
Sir, I like the way you teach. I have been watching ur videos for a month and trying to learn flute for a week. I have c scale natural medium flute which I recently purchased from punam flutes. After watching ur lessons I tried to blow two types of notes from one whole. But unable to do so. Also when I play P D N S' it sounds 'P 'D 'N S. Please suggest. With regards from India
It is tough to say without seeing your flute and playing style. The basic is when u play lower octave P D N S, ur blowing pressure will be low, and place the fingers very carefully so that there is no leakage while closing the holes.
Hello. I have a question. I am complete beginner and I just bought a flute that looks almost identical to yours. But there seems to be a cork or something in the flute. How am I supposed to remove the cork? I am getting no sound. Thanks!
I was trying to play from last 2 weeks tried many videos here learn a bit but you have shown the real knowledge I was holding the bansuri with wrong way.
