It looks like you are flipping all the DS on the 2nd half of the split ring...if so, isn't that different that a regular split ring where you do not flip the stitches on the 2nd half of the split ring? This looks so much easier than a regular split ring...LOL Thank you so much Georgia for providing these tutorials!

HI Georgia, im quite new at tating, trying to understand the pattern FIRST...for a split ring , it says the two halves are separated by / What does / mean?????
that means the rings work is split in half. it will read something like this 3-3/3-3 this says half the work is done on one side the other half is done on the other side of the ring and you will pop out with both threads on the opposite end you started from. Watch the basic split ring video here and it will help you understand better.
