I'm a first time investor. Learning day by day..thank u.. I have seen many emails regaridng IPO. Recently I saw ipo issued by ola. When I asked my financial advisor he said they dont recommend it. So, I didnt go for that. I understood the concept now. Thank you

For me the cheapest IPO has to be OLA Electric with over 38% increase in the share price till date (seems pretty good to me but of course we'll have to wait for little longer to confirm that). The costliest for me has to be Adithya Birla Sun Life AMC. I so could've invested in the secondary market. The price kept decreasing and it still didn't reach the IPO price.😢

Even in secondary market, we are buying holdings of shares. Who ever holding stocks, they are part of business. At the time of profit, the dividend will be shared. The dividend given for the invested capital, not for the particular share holder.

Generally the owner holds majority of shares. If the company performs good then it will increase the stock price. Group company will have free cash for expanding more business. And encourage investors to invest more by giving dividend.
