Lesson 8: Teaching Disciples: Part II 

Children are beautiful souls. I am a mother of 9 children 24 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren ; my home was always a welcome place of children , inspite of having to cope with mine………. As a result of sharing Jesus with those children; many of them are now in the church , as pastor seconds and faithful servants of the Christ in the SDA church. Keep the little children close , show them love 🙏🕊🌈

Pastor Derek, last week we saw that right perception does not come easily to us when we have preconceived ideas. The culture blinded the disciples to the fact that Jesus came to bless everyone.

The story of the rich young ruler shows us that God will confront us in love, about the things that keep us from having a deeper relationship with Him. When we know these things, we can now choose to grow our relationship.

The rich young ruler love God but when it comes to his fellow humanity , he locked love and , why do I say that? Jesus knows the heart of everyone and, Jesus did not mention the first four commandments but the last six and the first is all about honor to God , the last six is about our relationship with humanity, we can't love God and don't love one another.

If the divorce rate among Christian's is the same as that of the secular society, what kind of witness to the world is our Christianity? God says: I hate divorce and putting away. (See Malachi 2:16) He wants us to love one another. Humility, a forgiving spirit, a self-denying, self-sacrificing attitude and a life COMPLETELY SURRENDERED TO GOD will help couples to stay together until death separates them.

The rich man had a misplaced and misguided view on life,money as his destination. His plans and management of life reflected on money power. Therefore, Jesus guidance was a shock of his life, he didn't want to change in his plans.... miserably disappointed and went away....

I prefer the term partner over girlfriend/boyfriend. Hearing the term girlfriend/boyfriend makes me think the partners are not committed for life. It makes me think they are saying they may leave at any point. The term partner makes me think two partners are committed to each other for life.

There is a social,spiritual and emotional reason to understanding the response Jesus on rebuking children. They are the most ready hearted group to learn and observe the new rays of truth in order to develop the their moral and ethical values based on the spiritual destination....most of the opinion expressed in the group are sound kiddish and low profile ....

I have been married for 24 years and i have no reason to celebrate. The more i live with this man, the more i dont like him. He knows, and he's not planning on leaving. He is so annoying and disgusting. I would leave if i had somewhere to go. We build a house together and have one child. I dont know what will become of me! I have to blame myself for all of this because i git married for reasons that were pointless and stupid. As a young girl, i thought that the year 2000 would come around with eternal consequences, as was going around. I believed that and wanted to get married before God comes.....for the experience. I also got married because he was financially stable, and as a poor girl, i was certain his status would improve my situation. It was never love. He gave me no reason to love him. Now, i am suffering the consequences.

There is spiritual precept of marriage as life long. But humanity lost the spiritual vision after the sin entered in the affairs of human life, life is no more as it was intented, threw opened to the Will of satanic trap....so some cases of mismanagement brings in conflicts of personal relationships....by looking at the welfare of both the spouse if the conflicts are at stake, divorce is indispensable......

I expect NO sabbath school class will read OR hear ALL 52 verses of Mark 10 this sabbath!! SDA churches are not into reading as much bible as in Catholic churches at their weekly mass.
