Oh my word…thank you for showing that they have a word document that I can make adjustments. I’ve been just typing each week up on a word document for my son on what I want him to do. 🤗 huge time saver!!!!
Super helpful! Thanks Abbey! ---> My kids want to do this together next year as a high school course, so I'm doing all the research this school year to be ready. You're helping me A TON!
I'm doing this Chem course and Whirlwind. However, we are doing Whirlwind over 2 years. I split each assigned day into two days- first, my daughter does the reading/workbook/timeline and the next day she does the Extra resource books along with the videos. It is working out well. The only complaint is that some days the reading from their online book is much longer than other days. I wish it were a bit more consistent. But it is a good program overall.
I heard of many families spreading the history programs over two years…especially when there are so many great things included. Makes it hard to want to cut anything out!
I’m a paper person so I print off a copy of the schedule for myself and then make my notes on what to keep or skip on there. Then I put assignments into my students planners. I have a couple of videos in my lesson planning playlist showing how I enter them into their planners and bookmark videos, etc
Not all of them do but it wouldn’t be hard to swap out non dairy substitutes in many of the recipes. My daughter and I limit our dairy intake so we frequently experiment with altering recipes
