Lessons from the journey to become Miss India | Shreya Shanker | TEDxSBSC 

This talk explores personal reflection on the power of personal growth and the pursuit of dreams. Shreya Shanker's journey growing up in a military household, embracing change and learning new experiences on the way. How thinking of Miss India as a far fetched dream became her reality and how this new journey was transformative in a sense that it made her accept herself, learn from mistakes and get a deeper understanding of her true identity. Shreya Shanker won her first National Title of Femina Miss India in 2019 and was crowned Femina Miss India United Continents in 2019. She went on to represent India in Guayaquil,Ecuador at the Miss United Continents 2019 Pageant. She is a well-known Indian Model and also a state level Air Rifle Shooter. She was voted 25th place in Times 50 Most Desirable Women of India 2019 in an internet survey conducted by The Times Of India.
