I'm imagining the Moon Cell, the Throne of Heroes, and the Counter Force each betting on how long it will take for Gudaface to create a family that includes everyone from the Moon Cell, Throne of Heroes, and the Counter Force. While the Elder Gods are watching like we must stay clear of that thing and/or recruit IT.
I do wonder if a Dead Apostle, with the extra-long life would think of making or sponsoring the building of a blood bank. This way they can use the CEO/ major shareowner rights to drink the blood needed but not get on the bad side of the church. Like they could donate the blood at times to humanitarian efforts or something
Yeah, I'm confused on why they don't just... _legally_ acquire blood while not making themselves a target. I image that NOT having the Mage Association (READ: Lorelei) on your ass would be a rather good move.
@@rashan141 legally acquiring blood? How? You can't buy it, stored blood is only to be selled to hospitals and medical efforts, blood banks will not sell you blood.
@@PeachDragon_ Become the blood bank... obviously. There are probably many ways for them to get it without attacking people. Many don't even need to be legal about it if they can use _basic hypnotism._ I'd wonder if that's not even illegal, in their minds. They could also act like they have anemia. That's another. Or just be a private doctor to run check-ups and take the blood after the fact. There are so many other ways to get blood without having to be a raving asshole.
Meh they're dead apostle I bet they just think that building a blood bank is beneath them or just to lazy to do it. Just like the holy grail war participant, they can just erase the memories of the witnesses but nooo they think it's easier to just kill them
Every time I watch one of these I just keep remembering Archer from Fate stay night abridged saying he doesn't want to talk about the moon. After seeing this series I can say that yeah, the moon is a lot
No Abridged Archer was fine with talking about the moon. He said to Shirou that if he wanted a higher tier concept they could talk about the moon. Abridged Saber told him to shut up about the moon.
One of the hardest things about covering these broader Nasuverse topics is a lack of official art depicting what I'm describing. I was surprised we finally got official art of Altrouge, for instance. What characters or ideas in the nasuverse do you want to see Takeuchi draw? CORRECTION!!! Apparently that Maid is not Altrouge. People online started saying it was her for unknown reasons. I apologize for the misinformation.
I don't know if he would have a part in drawing it but it would be awesome if fgo would have more of the kind of cutscene's that the current babylonia event quests just put in. It would help to get a better picture so we can understand scenes a bit more if the manga is anything to go by. That said it would probably take up WAY too much memory space if they did so unfortunately.
I read in an interview on Beast's Lair that Nasu intends to heavily rework the 27DAA for the Tsukihime remake since he thinks they seem underpowered compared to many of the threats introduced in FGO like the Beasts. He wants to make them more powerful so that they seem like a comparative threat again. My biggest concern with your next video is that it might fall out of date very quickly with TsukiRE's release.
A couple TAA's that could potentially outlast at least some of the beasts would be TATARI due to how it works and Nero unless the beasts have a method of killing all of his 666 lives or something like EA i.e Anti-World. One thing i don't think has been mentioned is how well Arc after Roa was perma-killed so say during the events of Melty Blood could handle a beast due to her regaining the power that was stolen from her and getting back ups to fight the beast AND her ability to just blow reality marbles and other such fields away.
It may be difficult without much official art bit your doing a great job of it. I think if I had to choose I would like to see some art of Brunstud of the crimson moon. Not to mention just out of curiosity what dose the throne of heros look like anyway.
@@otakudaikun I guess I always pictured it looking something like the Atlas institute in the Camalot singularity buried deep in some remote nameless mountain
I'm more surprised that 1 of the true ancestors didn't think of selling blood to others in a varied form like carpisun give them their fix and a fun flavor
Funny thing about Satsuki, conflicting information suggests that she may actually be completely independent of Roa due to her potential. So those who quickly become vampires might not rely on their parent's survival.
@@otakudaikun If I remember right Roa is dead by Melty Blood timeline the version we see in the game is Tatari and Sacchin is still fine apart of the back alley alliance her potential insane she even has a Marble Phantasm she might as well be the new 28th DAA practically
@@tonyinfinite5174 She doesn’t have a marble phantasm, the 21st DAA Sumire the water demon has a marble phantasm. Satsuki has her own reality marble called depletion/inflation garden that completely erases all types of magical energy at an insanely fast rate
@@sparksofblack shit this was forever ago yeah at the time I didn't know the difference between them RM and MP thanks to the remake we see an MP in action
@@tonyinfinite5174 Oh my bad. And yh the remake did us justice. Idk if you’ve read the Tsukihime manga but the author was working with Nasu in the remake, the marble phantasm’s visuals was most likely his idea
Hey Dai, I wondered on a strange idea to fix the archer Emiya paradox. Since he is stuck in an unbreakable time loop or grandfather paradox (he can't kill himself because then he won't be there later to come back and kill himself) he could only be prevented from becoming a counter guardian or destroyed by a third party outside entity that can function along timelines. What about Gaia? If Heroic Spirit Emiya decided to start tearing the Earth asunder with all his broken phantasms could not a very likely response from Gaia to be to destroy him one way or another and force a break in his heroic spirit time loop?
I need to clarify that's not how Emiya's situation works. The grandfather paradox only applies when time runs along a single track. It's not that Emiya can't kill Shirou, it's just that doing so won't free him from being a counter guardian. The Shirou he's trying to kill is already not the same Shirou that became him. That said, it does make me wonder how the planet would react if he rebelled
@@otakudaikun This is where I'll disagree with you on the point of the timeline. Yes there are multiple timelines for the Shiro, but the single timeline that leads to the creation of his counter guardian is loop and can't be broken by him. This is why timelines and paradoxes get messy to mix. It's entirely theoretically possible for multiple timelines to exist in parallel, with some in a straight line with one or even more than can loop. It all depends on what characteristics separate define the timeline. So, I'd still hold that archer can't break his own timeline because once he is within the loop he cannot effect the loop. Essentially, Shiro cannot effect which timeline he is on once he knows what timeline he is on. And just because he may take a timeline that prevents him from becoming a counter guardian doesn't mean that the timeline that he did become a counter guardian ceased to exist. So, archer can, will and always has been summoned by Rin. That is the basis for the many worlds theory (not multiverse, that's different) but should be renamed the Type Moon theory because Nasu may have came up with it first lol (idk about that but I'd think it'd be excellent, I'd have to check dates lol) This is the stuff that makes physics fun :P Anyway, that wasn't the main point of what I was wondering about (sorry about the huge tangent). I've wanted to come up with a way to actually break the loop and archer cannot do it himself once he is locked within it. That is where I started thinking about forces that can operate outside of the timelines and Gaia and Alaya obviously can and since they often conflict, I do wonder what their response to archer just going all broken phantasm nuking of the Earth would be. Since he's already a "servant" of Alaya, how much effect do you think Gaia could have on him? What level of counter do you think Gaia would utilize to overcome a nuke-tastic archer raining phantasms all over the earth? :) Thanks for listening man. Hopefully found something in there new or interesting.
@@tonyinfinite5174 Fate is only more complex because its fucking gone on for so long and Nasu intentionally left a lot of Tsukihime stuff vague, its still more of a cluster fuck than Fate
@@Pokemaster-wg9gx In Tsukihime all you need to know technically is the church hunters and super vampire by DAA and True ancestor if you know this you can skim through everything else. Fate on the other hand attempts to balance both the magic system of Nasuverse and the Servant's skills and power levels which is completely unrelated to the former in terms of relevance what's worse you have to understand both to know how the Fate fights work in Tsukihime you can enjoy the fights without much background knowledge
I understand that FGO is kind of its own thing in the Nasuverse, but how would you classify Hinako Akuta/Yu Mei-ren? I was having a hard time following the lore in LB3
Summing it up(if i understood well Humans are judged too imposing, so Gaia called Type moon over whose job was to create an invasive species called true ancestors to give them enough competition so that they physically can't destroy everything else. Much like when humans do it(spoilers: when you introduce a super predator, chances are he becomes a bigger problem than what made you introduce it in the first place, and who is gonna get rid of the superpredator now?), it did not go well, and those True Ancestors(Vampires) were by design, too good at their job, and incapable of controlling themselves enough for it not to end in humanity annihilation) Due to their nature Counter force wouldn't be sent for them directly, but thankfully, some(powered by the counter force) did have the wisdom necessary to realize this, and hunted their kind who went too far(the demons lord) To not become demon lords themselves/live by their morals, all of the "moral" True ancestors would eventually go into hibernation At some point, 2 arcuid, aka reincarnation of Type moon came to be from the true ancestors, the first one being only an imperfect vessel in comparison to the second, who was the true reincarnation Much like not fallen true ancestors, arcuid role was to hunt down demon lords and other vampiric kind, and due to her abnormal amount of power as Type Earth she is able to bypass the insane bloodlust inherent to her species, which she is the only living and awake representant. As for demon lords, by sucking the blood of humans, they can also turn them into Dead apostle(a state attainable through magecraft as well), who are vampire as well and subordinate/blood bank of the ancestor which created them. Unlike True ancestor, hibernation is not an option for them, and their bloodlust must be satisfied. Those who successfully rebelled against their "creators" became Dead apostle ancestors, who while are less vulnerable, are still one step behind true immortality Repeating the cycle once again, those apostle ancestors can suck the blood of people to death, create zombie like being called Dead. Some, due to stronger body or mystical abilities are Ghouls, which means that passed enough time and consumption(in some exception, instantaneously) they will regain their will instead of staying mindless body slaves. Regardless to no longer be bound by life or death to their creator and forced to do their bidding, they must destroy the contract as well, much like how the apostle ancestors broke free of True ancestors. The church in all this is the enemy of vampires of all kind.
You mentioned Elementals, will they be topic at some point? If Crimson Moon were to possess Arcueid Brunestud would he had woman's body or be able to change it? Would he even care? I will wait with questions about 27 until next video but how does blood drinking work for dead apostles. How does blood drinking works? Is it about crimson liquid or it is only medium? Can blood be taken by mundane means (even as simple as knife and cup) to feed apostle without any supernatural detriment for donor?
There's energy that is absorbed by drinking blood. Vampires can actually transfer this energy to one another, allowing a head vampire to stay hidden while his underlings collect blood for him.
I'm actually confused, wasn't arcueid immune to bloodlust until she tasted blood when she got tricked? I remember reading something like that when playing through tsukihime
I need someone to reach out to this man to make a touko video. Using the wiki and such I got most of the info I was looking for but there's no videos about her on RU-vid.
5:25 Is that what Altrouge looks like? Or is that what she used to look like before stealing Arcuied’s hair and using it to evolve herself to look like an adult? Bonus Note: I wonder is Arcuied ever met Martin from George A Romero’s Martin. Lol.
This series tends to double down on the dark parts of a lot of these kinds of myths and creatures, I would imagine there is some in-universe explanation as to why Dead Apostles or even the remaining True Ancestor don't use things like bloodbanks. Probably some conceptual thing, just like how the TA Bloodlust is entirely mental... For some reason. Has that ever actually been explained? It's a bit a random, and the only reason it's a thing is because that's how Vampires are in fiction- though in the lore of the series they should have inspired the tales, not literally been them... Is this a faith-god situation? I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to the lore here. I always like seeing a settings take on Vampires though, espeically magical style ones.
I'm sure a vampire could get some amount of nourishment from a blood bank, but given how dead apostles try and expand their territory, they would probably prefer to get it directly.
"Watch?" But there's no Tsukihime anime. ...Well there is, all the way back in 2003 by JC Staff but it's so bad that fans pretend it doesn't exist. Since then, there has been no Tsukihime anime and the series just recently got rebooted with the recent remake VN.
Maybe, if she looked like the art I used here. Sadly, it turns out that's not Altrouge after all so we still don't technically know what she looks like.
@@otakudaikun on dang to be honest I’m so confused on how they write like altera she in the fate universe use to be a white Titan but now is a female warrior with the sword that belong to the god of mars and yet they can’t make vlad into a true ancestor base on the fact that the true ancestor were the original vampire . Maybe fate will one day make a new servant , like how they did for Charlemagne for they have his real historical version and there fate version , maybe because as how you seen nowadays vampire are hot dudes and girl the new Dracula can be a hot vampire somewhat similar to the true ancestor as a powerful being or perhaps a beast for a Halloween event maybe it can be the gender bent of Elizabeth bathory or something like that with a new event being that new servant are created from different world where magic is stronger allowing new servant to be created , servant that are base on nowadays imagine of what they use to be like , like hot vampires hot werewolf, sexy or ugly witches , future servants that are cyborgs or robot from where robots fought against humans for there freedom or a universe where new gods were created like those elder one from the Cthulhu although were so have some servants who are fused with them liek how they did with stars wars maybe they can do one with hell razor or some horror like genare
Consort Yu is similar to one, and magi like Marisbury and Meuniere refer to her as one. She's definitely a Fairy Elemental and a Terminal for the Planet, which True Ancestors are as well. BUT....a major, major difference is that she doesn't go crazy if she consumes human blood. This is very important because that taint has always been described as being from Crimson Moon. I figure she's a "prototype" for True Ancestors created by Gaia. Maybe Gaia just couldn't make enough to control humans and then asked Crimson Moon for hlep.
The idea is that the term vampire is something humans made up after witnessing True Ancestors and Dead Apostles, implying that the proper terms have existed long before vampire.
A valid question. I think they tried to use Dead Apostles as a source of blood first, but it made 'em go crazy with bloodlust. Arcueid is the only true ancestor left, while the Dead Apostles have a vested interest in expanding their territory rather than just staying fed.
I don't think a True Ancestor can acqyire True magic. While they are conscious beings with souls, they are ALSO the Counter Force given physical form.Their connection with the planet would contradict with True magics Alien nature and destroy them.
@@NEXUSKNIGHT2 It's not confirmed but it is a general assumption we can take seeing that the Counter force tries to kill Juvenile Magicians . It's also been stated that acquiring TRUE MAGIC is akin to committing an "irrefutable Crime" against both Humanity and the Planet. That pretty much means they should be fundamentally incompatible. But maybe mushroom man could pull some excuse out of his ass since a corrupted Excalibur is still"The strongest Holy Sword".
