12 yrs ago I was in an ATV 4-wheeler accident and was alone. Long story short, I broke my back and was instantly paralyzed with spinal injury. I laid 24 hours until found. I screamed and prayed for help. I finally got mad and screamed to God "if I am going to die take me, if not you better send me a sign" just then 2 geese came flying and circled around me and landed on a hill above my head. They squawked for hours and stayed with me until I was found by a dog the next morning.
We can learn so much from geese if we pay more attention on them. For instance, the ways how they protect their families, the loyalty they commit to their mates, the ability of adaptation and pattern recognition, the sense of responsibility they take for their team work, the friendship they built up with people they trust, the hardship they could bear in severe weathers, and their capability of recovery from various serious injuries and illnesses, not to mention their high intelligence.

Today we celebrate fabulous mentee Mya Coley who earned her Certified Flight Instructor aka CFI certification! I shared " Lessons of the Geese" with her as it is so appropriate to flying in V for victory together with sense of community, safety and support. My Dancers for Harmony of the 1990s and early 2000s loved dancing the V formation and sharing the story of how the Canada Geese work together teaching how to lead the group safely in the air, taking turns leading, keeping every bird together as a well-functioning unit in the sky. We love Canada Geese.
I teach in San Bernardino. The events that took place yesterday at Northpark Elementary School were horrific and have shaken us all to our core. Though I do not teach at that school, we grieve for what they experienced, for the loss of our friend and colleague, Karen Smith, and for the life of young Jonathan Martinez, just 8 years old. This video, though meant as a management team builder, is so appropriate for the school district in San Bernardino right now. Thanks for sharing it.
I watched it in tutorial and found it again because it's SO AWFUL and OVERDRAMATIC! took 3 and a half minutes to convay a 30 second idea... DISGRACEFUL
This video is for educational purposes only. All credit is to the owner and glory to God! "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." Gen. 1:31 KJV
