For anybody wondering what the new Pastel Roses formula is like, I can confirm it is a huge improvement even though I love my original shadows. The formula is much thinner and dryer/smoother however they are no less impactful n fact I would say they are more sparkly than previous formulas. They pick up with a brush or finger and don’t need glitter glue! I’m amazed and cannot wait for them to release more.

So far I can say that they pick up much easier on a brush because they’re much thinner. With the older formula I always used my finger and found I didn’t need a glitter glue as there was so much binder already in the shadow. This new formula is very thin and dry but in a really good way. I would say that you would be best using a glitter glue though as the sparkle kind of dispersed everywhere.
