Hello #daktarisquad! First of all, thank you so much for all the love on my previous video. I received all the sweet congratulatory messages but I wasn't able to respond to everyone individually. I truly appreciate you all and I don't take it for granted. Secondly, thank you for being here. All 26.6K of you. Finally i wish you and your beautiful families happy holidays. Cheers and enjoy the vlog!
My struggles began when i was in class 7😢 my parents separated and my dad went silent up to date.. nilijua kimeumana the moment my mum could not afford my high school fees and so i had to go to a day school.. i thank God nilipita .. wuehhh, after high school hakukuwa na dooh za kunipeleka campus.. i spent almost 5 years at home but 2 years ago i was able to join campus.. Praying for my success everyday for me to help my mum😢🙏
The struggles we go through eventually shape us in one way or another, and in some ways it can be unfortunate. But in your case, hun i am so proud of you. Keep going!! I truly believe you are meant for great things
Hi Dr. Lindah! @ 31:46 No, I don't think we attract what we are... but I do think we *tolerate* what we are. In my view, anyone outside of us is an external factor, and we only have control and responsibility for ourselves. However, if we choose to let toxic/harmful people stay in our lives, we are tolerating them because of our self esteem/low self worth/lack of care for ourselves which they likely also share.
What I know is when two people aren’t doing anything wrong behind their partners, they don’t hide, but if they’re messing around they’ll hide. This two are genuine friends.
Yes, l 1000% agree with you and co-sign you attract what you are expecially after being taught about the conscious and subconscious mind very very powerful
I admire your friendship with Muma🥰 siku moja nitakuwa na PhD alafu nitakuwa na mfriend wangu mphotographer mwenye atakuwa ananicheer kama muma😢#iposiku 🙏
Hi dr.lindah, how are you doing. This is my take about toxic family members, cut people off! This might sound offensive to some but do not tolerate toxic people who tamper with your mental health in the name of family. If they're indeed family then they need to respect your boundaries and just love you for who you are with no judgement at all. I'm speaking from experience and trust this families can cause you pain and even be the reason for your downfall. And yes we owe our parents nothing but gratitude and if God blesses us then we sure need to be a blessing to them, love your photoshoot, you looked great ❤️
Hello Elizabeth. I couldn't agree more. I had actually stated a lot more about this while i was recording but opted to delete the clip out of concern that i may come off harsh ( just as you stated). Being related means nothing these days and people closest to you can easily harm you because they have access to you. Thanks for this and for watching .
@@dr.lindahmuthoni you're welcome mami, lots of love. Also, next time don't delete any clip after recording 😂I mean we might just be helping someone out there, and people need to learn the difference between stating facts and being rude. Cheers Daktari🥰
Good job!, this is a topic that is rarely discussed. I also noticed the same thing growing up in the United Kingdom; people tend to shy away and hide from discussing mental health.
I agree with you daktari we attract what we are from friends, partners. Also self acceptance is really important that's where everything begins.Merry Christmas❤❤.Keep giving out beautiful and positive content like you do.
Hi Lindah!👋🏽 yes, subtitles are so necessary because I have been subscribed since your first RU-vid video (which I understood almost nothing of lol, but kept coming back because of your vibe.) however, I don’t speak or understand Swahili. I’m sure you have a lot of subscribers like myself.
Hey Dr Linda have been watching your vlog and here on Instagram have been seeing you have really loved your lifestyle and I feel like you are a role model to me thanks for the encouragement you give us on you me am schooling East African University a neighbour of a school u pursued your PhD I would really love to manifest on your lifestyle and education😊
Hi Linda, mental health awareness does not get the spotlight it deserves in our country. Personally i have experienced toxicity from my extended family. I agree toxic family members should be cut off. If you can please talk about personality disorders like bipolar disorder, my mum has it and she struggles alot.
Hi Mercy. Sorry about your mum, I am not the best person to speak on matters to do with psychology however i have something in the pipeline that will be of great value to my audience.
I think what we are too,but not to say we are the people that hurt us,maybe we just haven't realised healthier ways of being loved, especially when one hasn't experienced them prior
Awesome video! As high as the cost of living is, nashangaa kuona revellers all out and spending bila stress! POV: passed by Kangundo Rd the other day and Quiver Eastland's parking lot was full, many other guys had parked along the road, creating some traffic snarl up. Anyways, keep up the awesome creation you're doing!
