Sarah, you're doing such a great job! We will be praying over your Dad, Mom, & extended family involved for continued improvement on the road to healing. This is hard stuff, and I'll be praying God infuses you with HIS strength and peace over the coming days ahead. Take heart mama; He has overcome the world!
My husband absolutely hates it when I rearrange different areas of the house because I do it so often 😂 I told him it makes me feel better, now I know why. Thank you for sharing your life even though your time is so limited and I know you can spend the extra time doing other things. Best wishes on your dad’s recovery & praying for strength for your mom ❤
I’m so glad to hear that your Dad is out of the ICU. I’m sure the road ahead is long and scary but you’re on it and traversing it well 💗 This is actually why I believe homeschooling is best for families. Because when things like this happen the whole family is together, growing and learning together through it. And I’m referring to learning about life, and loss, what’s truly important, how to be resilient and overcome obstacles. Your girls are learning all of that and more right now. And you’ll some day be on the other side of this and be able to share valuable steps that other families who find themselves in similar situations can take to keep on trucking when the road gets rough. You & San are doing a great job supporting your family, including your Mom & Dad. My prayers continue to be with your family 🙏💗
I have found that when I had one child I thought I could never do anything and with each kid I got better and better with boundaries, routines, and schedules. I still have plenty of times when I feel like I can’t do anything but I setup my day to plan things when I have the best chance of being successful!
A fun weekend for the girls I’m sure. I know it was hard to not go see your dad but like everyone is saying you are doing the best you can and I’m sure your dad would rather you spend the day with your girls every once in a while (if that makes sense). When my brother was in the hospital he told us to live life like normal and just pretend we’re going to the store (but really we were going to see him). It was hard but we had to do what we did for the children who didn’t exactly understand what was going on. Sending al the prayers.

Yep I’m looking into that. But I really would love a curriculum that also has recipes, activities, etc. to deepen all that we are reading like A Gentle Feast or the Peaceful Press has.
