I had the rank 5 aff in the world in my run a few days ago and he was so proud about it so i thought this guy is going to pump then we did the run and the tank did more damage lol
As a one trick Demo warlock since BFA (with a dash of Aff in Nathria and other places), this is the best we've ever felt in M+ since the BFA rebuild. Absolutely crushing it. Fearing the nerfbat.
Im playing disco, tried shadow few times, but my 440 owl got higher bursts than shadow. We are talking about around 300k dps. While healing i can see dh hunters paladins rogues mages pompin 700k. Its bad design when tank pulls 30 mobs and i can dot only 8 with shadow crash. Pure bullshit :D
Alright hear me out, rework affliction warlock to be the opposite of augmentation. Where Aug buffs allies substantially, aff could debuff enemies in an equally subatantial way 👀
The problem with MM on keys is that the windrunnes talent is bugged and its losing the charges when dropping combat, that makes the MM to lose 10 seconds of trueshot on every cast after the first one, that hurts a shit ton
augmentation in WCM +24 and higher at tree boss can be really brutal, if the augvoker don't know how to play it and holding upheaval and a bit of essence for eruption, otherwise rip key if the 2nd dps gets caged and there is no BoP, or human racial available. fire mage only works well with disc priest (PI) and Aug, otherwise frost is better for pugging (unless it's sanguine week)
I just downloaded the game in November and am starting to get into m+ (usually 10-15) and I’m an affliction warlock, I wanted to play warlock because it seemed cool and I picked affliction for the big DoT. I didn’t realize it was considered basically bottom of the barrel, so I have trouble getting invited for raid groups and m+. Oh well, it’s still fun for me and I have an arcane mage I hit 69 on last night, so it’ll be max level today.
You two are always ranking balance too high , yes like four balance durids can do okay in a few high keys where the groups designed around them but just pugging balance is C their at best

The problem I see from these lists is that a lot of specs is propped up by Power Infusion/Augmentation Evoker. Imo specs should be balanced (yeah right!) at a base level and then Power Infusion / Augmentation Evoker is there to add cherry on the cake during burst phases, as required.
Arcane goes crazy when it isn’t a pug. Now I’m not pushing +20 yet but the value the arcane damage profile has with a tank that pulls around it a little is crazy good
I used my pre purchase boost to destro lock and the lower keys i was totally useless. Everything dies way way too fast 😅 but after climbing a bit its very viable i think. And in raids also. I like it very simple. Good alt for shutting brain off when little burned out from more complicated specs
Feel like they nerfed spike a little was getting 700-800k now it's only hit for 600-700k at 472. Is mastery really important enough to have over-capped again? I was 600 points over mastery cap and still 32% crit while getting the bigger hits.
They nerfed Shadowpriest without thinking of the consequence of making a shitty tier set. Power infusion syngergy with abilities, They just updated shadowpriest with 5% dps. It should be closer to 10% (plus the 5 they allready added) increase if you are going to fill in the void (no pun intended) from a weaker PI.
@@ziggs123 i honestly dont think twins is the issue because you as a shadowpriest is loosing dps but giving another person dps. Without it. They nerfed it because it was too strong but with the help of buff evoker it was pushed to new limits of what it actually could preform with a 25% pi.
Elemental shaman is really fun to play, especially fire build. Just can’t wait till I get another tier piece to play the build properly. Proccs all the time even without the 4 set.
Afflction warlock is........afflicted XD All jokes aside, Aug is definitely not as strong/facerolling before but the reason why they're still up there is because of different reason right now, their Oppression Roar kinda double the duration of any cc so them + DH or whatever class that has long stun skill would kinda trivialised any dangerous pack especially on high keys. and.....BM got nerfed as of writing T_T
I wanted Augmentation to be my main as it is first support spec in the game and I love that kind of playstyle in FFXIV but damn it is so boring and just frustrating to play and even it being S tier for so long and that everybody want you in the group was not enough for me to play it. My second choice was BM and I enjoy it so far but my love to Warlock is so strong I will probably come back to it at some point :p
Bro you're so wrong about Warlock Utility. Health stones, Battle Rez, AoE Stun, Single Target Stun/Interrupt and you have Curses, 2 Fears, insanely tanky. Only thing hurting Demo in Keys right now is not having Arcane Intellect for the healer.
I don’t know how anybody can play any range in m+, except maybe BM. You literally cannot cast 1sec without need to move to avoid something. Range is ultra hard mode, it makes me want to smash my keyboard into oblivion.
There's talk in the very high end of players that Augmentation might not even be worth it in mythic plus over like a sin rogue or a havoc demon hunter.
there was never a debate about that all they say its more likeable to time some keys without aug but the higher they get u wont play without aug just for the fact it supports not just dps but tanks and heals as well. aug gives u somewhat around 1-2 key lvl higher just from defensive and how his dmg and buffs work that are optimal for keys. if blizz not nerfing them to a point where it just feels like u would play 2 healer and i can somewhat see it end up being something like this.
As an shadow priest main i have to say its C simply cause of the shitty tier set we got, and the way it plays feels so bad, plus compared to some dung i ran with my friends (18+) i can say that the dmg output even with pi is not even close to a (good spec) like BM hunter, just to compare when we both used our Cd's in Aoe my friend pulled on his bm hunter 750k and i got 300k, without cd's i can get even below tank aoe dmg thats just bullshit
@@MarcelianOnline it feels entirely different to last tier with this new naked tyrant build, plus the demonbolt tier set, plus the way our damage is non bursty and more consistent and then add on these weird on use trinkets that are bis. It’s very different but it’s solid.
I'm a balance druid main and i don't think it can stay in the same tier as BM hunters,mages or demo lock .. it should be lower with how much the effort/gear/setup is needed to obtain a dps equal to the others
People like you cause people to have problems with M+ (or Raid) if they don't play the meta classes. Sorry, but anyone who makes lists like this is just rubbish. Because every class can easily play up to key level 20 or clear the raid on HC. But people like you incite the community and give the wrong image. There will be many who change their main now because they don't want to be included, but they will never be able to play the other class as well as their old main class. Better to have a well-played F-tier spec than a poorly-played S-tier spec.
Spriest is garbage, not good in any situation. Trash die to fast all the time, doesnt matter if forti. Talents are shit, set is shit. Cant dot big pulls. Need dots to do dmg. Tries to dot = half mobs dead = no damage. Doesnt dot and just hit 8-10 targets? End up with 1/3 dps of a guy above. Why even cap shadow crash at 8 targets? PWD doesnt triger apparitions. There is so much wrong with the spec. BfA shadow was peak design. Short voidforms which rewarded crit for azerite beam. God i miss legion bfa. Somehow they fucked it up. They had it in s1 and s2, somehow they fucked it up again. Sometimes i wish i was a hunter dh or prot pala monkey. Just press the buttons and get dmg instantly. Fuck the devs.
well, when the community knows what is trash, those specs can get some love... AFTER they sit in forums and complain for the whole patch without getting any hotfixes or rework announcements. Sincerely, Enhancement Shaman since BFA only becoming good 3rd raid tier of Shadowlands.
