Ready. Set. Let's go Christmas thrifting! I had my 'list' that I was hunting for, but only found one item. Things NOT on my list? Lots of great deals to decorate my home and myself 😉. Well, ‘‘tis the Season for last minute shopping, and this week we’re putting the “purpose” in “repurposing.” We’re going thrifting for Christmas. I totally agree! Some channels make me seasick with their filming. I love how Stuart is moved by what he is filming. Sir Stuart seems to laugh, exclaim and asks questions authentically about the topic at hand while filming.

I love these videos because they inspire so many ideas! I’m really trying hard to not spend so much lately and your voice in my head saying to thrift from your own home and is working! I already have some great vessels to fill with greenery and berries for the holidays and my hubs and I foraged for some pretty greens,berries and branches and voila, I have what I need without spending a dime! You did great. That red dress is wonderful but I love the jacket destined for Stewart's, Mom the best especially since it is reversible. I have a light weight reversible jacket that can go from casual to dressy I bought about 20 years ago and it still remains a staple of my travel wardrobe.

Very fun video, and Stuart is the epitome of a fun shopping buddy! In our 54 years of marriage my husband has never had a clue, or cared about any trends, fabrics, colour, decor.......you name it! We've never shared 'the shopping experience" that's for sure! He's the typical old half asleep guy you see sitting on the couch in the malls. 😂 He's pretty patient so that's a good quality anyway! Love thrifting 😊 Christmas gorgeous plates, Waterford wine glasses with hollies! What a set Paid $35 😮 Along with the vase Amazing 😉 Initially, I went for garlands and I hit the thrift jackpot! Found a Balsam Hill garland with lights 😅 I came home vacuumed it wiped it gently and put it on my front doors with a 10 cents velvet red bow 😂😂. When I was in high school in the early 70's, we called the "shacket" a "CPO" jacket. It stood for Chief Petty Officer. Mostly the guys would go to a local army surplus store and purchase the army green CPOs, which I suppose is why they were called CPO jackets. However, we girls had plaid wool CPOs, which looked nothing like the army green ones, but like your shacket. In like manner flip flops were called thongs back then! Anyway, well done Linda!!

Linda and Stewart!! This was sooooo fun!! I have been out thrifting quite a bit this week. Some top finds were lavender/raspberry-ish Hunter boots for $8 and a black wool boucle J Crew cropped jacket for $4. YAY!! But now I will have to go back out because of your genius idea of glass bowls as liners for my plethora of silver-plated bowls. I can't even talk about the Kate Spade dress. You look FABULOUS.

The dresses are amazing!!! I love all of your thrifted finds. I’ve been thrifting for years and always find unique items. And yes, I definitely gift thrift. Of course I also purchase new items to supplement the thrifted finds, but I’m always so happy to find the truly unique items for friends and family. Oh i love this.. I had a plastic garland like that and the branches pulled off and i took a fake round boxwood ball and stuck them into it and made one of those kissing balls... now when i go to the store and see the real kissing balls for $40 I get excited over my thrifted craft project.

Thank you for today's thrifting video. I love all of the ideas you give with the decor tips, serving item tips and especially the clothing items. My husband and I have enjoyed going to more garage sales, thrift stores, estates sales these last couple years. We always come home with unique items. Absolutely! Saw a cover on 'Flower' magazine and had to attempt to duplicate it. Went nuts on Ebay finding a few vases and containers in the color scheme and went through what I had on hand and while it different it still provided the color and theme impact! Fun to do and why I am now watching your videos..just found you about a week ago...lots of great ideas for home and garden..YAY!
