Such a cool idea! I agree Gluing is sooo therapeutic. Being able to wind down from the day and just chill out throw some glue and images in a book helps me distress that's for sure!

I love what you're doing here. I am learning so much from you and other journal makers. Craftyirina mentioned you and that's why I hopped over to see your amazing channel. You are so right about doing creative things and helping with anxiety. I'm an artist and paint and draw but I recently have ventured into this journal and glue book world and want to make one. I'm currently gathering materials to create one. I have anxiety and bouts of depression too. I Have chronic pain and issues due to autoimmune disease, RA also have fibromyalgia. And art and hobbies are all helpful to keep occupied and keep mind busy and being productive. You are right that ATC 's are for trading only. ACEOS though can be sold and are very popular. They are the same size. I create ACEOs and sell them and I've bought them too. I paint and draw. ACEO = Art Card, Editions & Originals.
Love that silicone tool. Works great for gesso & modpodge. I used to love trading mixed media & fabric quilted postcards & ATC's on Yahoo groups...way before FB, RU-vid, & IG existed... 🤣 Too much fun!

I have Fibro also and a bunch of other "ailments" . Think I told you once. Some days it's sooo hard. I am also an avid reader. Like you I prefer the actual REAL book, for the same reasons. It is great to do these videos because the reinspire me! You know what? I love flying but I so wanted to take that finished piece and Trace with a nice black sharpie!!! Oh wait gold would be awesome too! Time to go make me one so I can!! Keep it up my crafty friend!!

Just watching you glue is relaxing! 😉 I keep watching people use that silicone brush. I need to get myself one. Looks like it makes applying the glue easy with easier clean-up compared to a paintbrush. Love the colors in this master board! 💕

This is beautiful. I used to make atcs but I stopped because the quality I received was not great. I put a lot of work on mine and then received a sticker slapped on a card.
Ugh that is so disappointing! Maybe I'll host an ATC Swap this year for all of us! I'll have some rules, like don't slap a sticker and call it a day! I make my ATC's for me 99% of the time :)
I have severe General and Social Anxiety disorders. Crafting has been my personal therapy since i was a kid. It helps block out the world. So when i'm between projects i get a bit down until a new idea comes.
I get put down all the time about my crafts. My boyfriend says he would rather be hit over the head with a bat. Other people call me a child or not intelligent, laugh at me. I do glue booking, junk journaling, vintage tags and cards, love my planners. Painting and latch hooks. Bullet journaling which is really art journaling. Name it, I do it. I suffer from depression severely with anxiety and have fibro too with a lot of serious health problems. My crafts help me so much.
