The most amazing thing about the Pain Killer is that you can increase the amount of medicine to coincide with your current level of pain and the drink remains delicious.
I understand this pov but I found that the only other navy strength I had was smith and cross and while it was really good, the funk was a little bit overpowering the drink so I think pusser’s suits the cocktail best at least with what I can find. Plantation oftd can also work though
Pina coladas tend to be much less about the spirit. Though there are more ingredients in the pain killer it's balanced in a way that makes it stronger and better suited for "the good stuff." I wouldn't use my good rum for a pina colada and I wouldn't use junk in a pain killer
