Next year’s Eurovision Sing Contest will be hosted in Malmö, Sweden following Loreen’s historic second victory this year in Liverpool
Some countries have already announced their artists for Eurovision 2024 including Greece
That’s right, the Greek broadcaster ERT recently revealed that Marina Satti will be representing Greece next May. She will go on to represent her country at next year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö taking place on the 7th, 9th, and 11th May 2024
Greece has not yet revealed the song Marina will sing next May in Malmö, so let’s react one of her most successful songs “Mantissa”, released back in 2017 which now has over 55 Million on RU-vid!

That in the background is gaida, aschomandoura or tambouna derived from aulos pronounced avlos. Like the Aschos of Aeolus (from the Odyssey). In Greek mythology, Aeolus, the son of Hippotes, was the ruler of the winds encountered by Odysseus in Homer's Odyssey. Aeolus was the king of the island of Aeolia, where he lived with his wife and six sons and six daughters. To ensure safe passage home for Odysseus and his men, Aeolus gave Odysseus a bag containing all the winds, except the gentle west wind. But when almost home, Odysseus' men, thinking the bag contained treasure, opened it and they were all driven by the winds back to Aeolia. Believing that Odysseus must evidently be hated by the gods, Aeolus sent him away without further help. And the Oracle of Delphi is as old as fortune-teller tradition gets. :) Marina has made many modern versions of Greek traditional songs. But this one is an original based on Greek traditional musical themes and customs using traditional Greek instruments.

Thanks for Copenhagen tip in one of the other videos. I booked a hotel there. I’m excited that it’s less than 12 hours until ticket sales become available. A lot of artists I know won’t be decided and revealed until next year but hopefully one or two more are revealed before the end of 2023.

@@ChrisCalling unfortunately I didn’t get tickets this time around. Hopefully I can get one when resale opens on the 12th. Though I now have a ticket for Melodifestivalen. Apparently next week is when Czechia’s artist is chosen, so that reveal should be happening end of the week. I hadn’t listened to Satti’s fortune teller song until after watching your video. It’s the first one of her songs I liked. Of the four artists revealed so far, she’s fourth when it comes to favorite to least. When I watched this video, I noticed you hadn’t reacted to MUSTII. If you still haven’t, I recommend either Skyline (or something like that) or What A Day!
