Taking how incredible the releases have been so far in 2024 and how many heavy hitters are still due to come out . My mind is blown by the quality of albums this year
I'm going have to agree. 2024 turned out better than last year. Tons of great comeback albums from 80's thrash metal bands. And of course, the modern bands as well. Nile, Nails, Judas Priest, Dark Tranquillity, Gatecreeper, Blood Red Throne, Severe Torture, Anciients, The Absence, etc. Man the list can go on!
@@tainted_lord87 yeah it’s been a ridiculous year for quality material . So many great albums it’s hard to keep track, and so many more still to come 🤘🏻
I agree with you man, crazy albums this year. Some other albums that I really enjoied: Darkened - Defilers of the Light Rotting Christ - Pro Xristou Piah Mater - Under the Shadow of a Foreign Sun The Troops of Doom - A Mass to the Grotesque Orange Goblin - Science, Not Fiction Nameless Gods - And That Sigil Meant Death
@@marcustapias2397 has been a crazy year for releases, The Troops of Doom was a great death/thrash album, new Rotting Christ was good too. Couple of the others I haven’t heard yet , need to check them out 🤘🏻
@@MetalNeverDieswithMarkA yeah man, very strong year for releases , and still so many heavy hitting albums still to come , starting with new Korrosive tomorrow 🤘🏻
Been a great year so far, especially for thrash. Morbid Saint, Fracture, Suicidal Angels, Holycide all currently top ten of the year for me. Riot V, Priest, Saxon and Accept all great traditional metal. My current fave however is still the Anarchy album - The Spectrum Of Human Emotion. This is my wow factor album, kinda Vektor meets Rush! Also Chephreon - Dark Tales From The Deep Lakes is one of the best Black/Thrash albums i've heard this year, highly recommended.
Yeah man so many top tier releases , I still need to check out that Anarchy and the Chephreon albums , the last time you told me a band to check out (Fracture) my mind was blown , so I’ll definitely check these bands out 🤘🏻
Great year for music. RU-vid recommended one to me randomly, the channel is DIZCHU and the vid is AMBER SKY - The Machine Exsanguinates Our Planet (FULL ALBUM) . I like the first song a lot.
@@metalmusicmeltdown RU-vid keeps sending me bangers, just listened to Fractal Gates - One With Dawn. Good stuff released 4 months ago. Edit: Even if its from last year, I like Septicflesh's Modern Primitive
What music did you listen to as a teen? I’m 16 been listening to bands like Metallica, Black Sabbath and Pantera and trying to get more into metal and would like some recommendations :D
When I first got into rock / metal I listened to gunge only because it was the music out when I was around 12 . As a teenager I got into Metallica was my gateway into metal. Black Sabbath is a great place to start so you’re in the right place there , if you like thrash the early Metallica albums , check out bands like , Megadeth, Testament , Exodus, Death Angel, Slayer, Over kill , and if you want to try some bands with death growl vocals try bands like , Opeth, In flames , Dark Tranquility , Obituary
@@metalmusicmeltdown Sick!! Ive heard of some of these bands before but never listened to them so I’ll definitely check them out. I love your CD collection too but unfortunately everything is digital now so CDs aren’t as popular but still awesome collection 🤘
@WakeUp318 thanks man, and yeah definitely check out those bands you’ll like them, and I still only buy CDs I prefer the physical copy still 🤘🏻I know not as popular with younger generation , but definitely buy CDs if you can , it’s a fun hobby and supports the bands
