I love this idea! And I love that you made your own book/journal to glue in. How fun and relaxing. I definitely need to make one. If I’m having a really rough day with trying to be creative, this might be a great way to just get things flowing a little bit. If nothing comes of it, it’s OK, just keep gluing. If something does, I can put it aside and move on. It’s win-win! I so appreciate you sharing this great inspiration! Hugs to sweet Simba 🤗❤️
Love your beautiful creation. I have a yearly glue book. I use a Daphne’s Diary and glue in daily ephemera and pictures I like as I go along. The freedom for me is in not needing to find the words….
Great start to the book Denise, I can imagine having a glue book and once its finished looking back through all the pages. It will be lovely for sure xx
Lovely start to your glue book Denise. It's good to take time for what you want to do. We get so bogged down making, making, making. I have purchased some Daphney's diaries and I'm going to make a collage book using all the beautiful pages in the magazines. I've also bought some collage books by Maremi Small Art which I am going to create collage pages which will include mixed media etc. I will still make Journals too.A Brick stencil would be lovely on the window page.
@@sionedjones6789 that sounds lovely Sioned . Yes I agree we can loose sight of the pleasure of creating if we don’t stay open to new projects xx enjoy ☺️ I know you will ♥️
Hi, Wow, I absolutely love it, thanks for this Denise, I like the freedom of this glue book, definitely going to try this. Soon be your holiday, bet you're so excited, enjoy sweety.... Take care 🤗💞 Hope your SW journey is going ok, we won't recognise you when you start your weekly vlog again xx
@@Tattytreasure it really was . You need to do some more fussy kits next year for these I think 🤔 although I probably have a years worth of stuff already 🤣🤣🤣
Funny you say that as im working on a neutral fussy cut / embellishment tupe kit will be one of the big kits. Lots of tickets, stamps, small vintage ephemera ❤@denisejunkjournalsuk7648
Oh Denise, what a beautiful cover and spine, those buttons look incredibly pretty! Such a great idea to use the framed theme throughout and those stamps look gorgeous, quite the impact... Loving your first page too, very home and hearth 🙂 I must ask Tania about those windows, how stunning they are! I've not done anything in mine for ages, but you've now inspired me to open it up again 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing, glue books are quite addictive and a lovely way to relax...🥰❤
Whoa, love the double page stamps. I do have a journal I started when we were all home due to covid. I guess you can say it is a personal journal. I created a page on how I was feeling that day or week. I followed Vicky Papaionannou and was inspired to make a art journal. Vicky does amazing journal pages. Thanks Denise this has inspired me to do another page in my book. First pages are so special and so much fun. 😊❤
