Id like Mattel to make a collector's dreamhouse, using realistic colors for the decor. That would be so exciting! Love your show, Toya! Have a great weekend! -Dawn
It’s a beautiful Barbie dream house but for $200 we don’t even get a downstairs floor. I’m not sure if I like that, it seems like it’s not finished. So I totally get what you mean ❤. Love your videos Toya.. G-O-A-T❤❤❤❤
Definitely would add floor to the bottom, probably would paint a lot of the house and figure out how to still include the slide without it going in the house. Seems pretty fun looking house though.
I agree the floor should have been filled in, as far as your question goes, the answer is you are going to strip it for parts lol, you already took the chairs.
I just saw the Barbie trailer for the first time 😅 I especially liked the line where she had to choose between seeking real answers and keeping the heels and she says "the heels, the heels!" And the person (whoever she was) says "I'm going to need you to say that you want to seek real answers"😂
@cherachapin3826, when I went to see Avatar The Way Of Water movie, I saw the trailer for the Barbie movie and it looked awesome. I hope I can go see it and The Little Mermaid movie. The Mario movie trailer was funny as well. The Avatar movie was in 3D though and at the beginning, it kind of hurt my eyes because my mom, friends and I didn't know it was in 3D. I thought there was something wrong with the screen at first as it was blurry without the 3D glasses which we kept. But, yes, the Barbie movie looks really good.
I can't explain how much nostolgia this channel brings to me and my sisters. we used to watch you guys 24/7 growing up, i'm so happy ya'll are still at it!
@@hannahlamagna had it too growing up! It was truly a DREAM house. I think since then the dreamhouses have severely declined in quality and function, hence why they're trying to use an old 'formula'. But truly nothing beats the og.
@@mellow8971 yeah I agree put of barbie life in the dream house I love all of the characters but Raquelle is and was one of my favorites I had the doll with the smirk but my brother broke her hands off and her leg and once I get a job I want to re buy her off ebay some RU-vidr said I should put her on a made to move body but it feels like a crime yes I still have her belt dress and necklace just lost her shoes and pants
This is why I collect old barbie houses, they have floors, separate beds and is more cohesive. This one looks like the barest minimum for the largest price! Good vid though Froggy! x
That this costs more than the rainbow high dollhouse and some rooms dont even have floors is wild to me. I'd rather have fewer accessories and a better base structure, but thats just my preference
It's a pretty big house with lots of space and furniture but honestly i think the rainbow high house is still the best dollhouse on the market right now
I just bought an empty RH house secondhand to customize gor MH dolls and I 100% agree. It’s SO nice, very sturdy, great quality! I still want to get a brand new one w/all the furniture and accessories, it’s one of the few dollhouses I’ve seen that is worth the price.
Great review 👍! I would love to see you make some floors because that is odd that some areas don't have any 🤔 It's a nice dollhouse & I think kids will love the slide the most 😃 I don't like the price but then Barbie houses have always been expensive👎
I got the 3 story townhouse in 1974 when I was 7 and never wanted another Barbie brand house again. It was WAY overpriced for what you got - minimal (and very cheap looking) furniture, no actual accessories, just stuff printed on the walls, and it was astonishingly flimsy- I could have made a sturdier house out of the box it came in. I was so frustrated & disappointed by it that it turned me off of Mattel’s overpriced Barbie houses forever.
It's now off my wish list. $200 and there's no floor? I love the accessories, but $200 makes my wallet wanna cry. Especially when I would just use the furniture and pet accessories. I enjoyed your house more and look forward to you working on it again.
I'm old school. My favorite iteration of the Dream House is still the 1979 orange, white and yellow A-frame version. This one is cute, but I don't really feel the need to own it.
Toya, the new 2023 Barbie Dream House is pretty. Your pink Dream House is sooo much prettier. You are sooooooo talented and I admire and respect your craftwomanship. Keep on crafting!
I love Barbie houses, this one though is lacking, jmo. The lack of a solid floor is weird and wrong. Why do that? Love your reviews Toya. And I agree with what you said, about everything in this house. Great review.
I was expecting a lot more from Barbie's dream house for this year. I was a little disappointed but I'm dying of intrigue what you will do with the house and furniture.
In my opinion, this dollhouse has cute furniture pieces, but the floors, and gaps aren’t very comfortable. If you know what I mean. So I prefer the Barbie Dreamhouse from I think it was 2 or 3 years back because the layout was nice. Decent furniture, it has flooring, and it didn’t have many gaps.
I haven't watched you since I was little, you're a big part of my childhood. It makes me very happy i can still watch you, and that you didn't stop posting. I love you so much, you've never failed to make me smile.
I have the Malibu dream house that feature in the Barbie in the dream house show I love it, this one is OK actually I agree with you on the details, and that floor is not wheelchair accessible 🙈🤣 I know you can make it so much better, and you have your own dream house is much better. For the price of all that plastic fantastic, the crafting supplies would make a massive better more realistic dream house, i will be doing exactly that when I can. Still great video and review Toya. You're simply Fabsome and congratulations to Bella on her Graduation, Little Froggy is all grown up, you, your husband son and family must be super proud of her. 🤗🤗🤗🌹
I think that it would be cool if you slowly makeovers it in your videos, filling in the floors, painting the beds and kitchens so it would be a cute usable back drop
I just thought what you could do for that super short bed. I've made doll beds and couches with the bottom hollow. If you did something like that you might be able to cover it without taking anything apart. Edit: I guess it came with a stackable bed. I was still watching the video. But if you want a more custom look I think it's cool.
You are so very clever to put that house to gether like you did and it is so very cute. I like that it has a elveter in it. I will have to check out the movie when it comes to town. Thank you so very much for for sharing this with bootie with me today Karen Nichols
The accessories are adorable ❤ But honestly the house itself looks kinda cheap for $200 😅 Yours looks so much better 👏🏻 Thanks for another great video!
Hi I hope you are doing well and that everything is going well for you and that you're having a happy Saturday and a happy weekend and a happy spring still 🌱🌹🌼💐.
I like the chairs with the dining set, I also agree the bed looked better when you put the other on top. I am sure you will add flooring to make the house easier to use qith the furniture but it is a really nice doll house. A lot of pink for me.😂
I luv your vids. I do not know in 20yrs a single person or kid that's like "gotta have the $200 Dreamhouse". Mattel needs to get with it, recognize who they're appealing to and it's not kids.
Kid Danger: *wearing his big trucker pup outfit and has his hoof on his face with a thinning look* to be very honest, I love your version of the dreamhouse. Can you please review the Ken made to move light green wheelchair?
Got the 2021 dreamhouse and I have to say: Mattel recycled some stuff (Such as the hippo soap dispenser, most of the small items such as the dishes, popcorn and pizza, I think I also got a "box" of eggs, a carton of milk, a tray of cookies - which are sticker - a cake and so on.) and even some of the stuff that make noise. I mean, does the elevator button gets stuck as well? And I do agree about the floor gaps. They're just... annoying. Just as the sculpted bed on that house and the rugs on my house. Ah! By the way... I had these Christmas lights not hanging around a tree (ever!) and I just "tied" them around the ceiling lamps on the rooms without lights (Bedroom and living room) and since the house is near a socket... still, I have no regrets about purchasing mine and there are some spaces close to the door that was supposed to lead to the "backyard" that I am actually using as bookshelves. The books are the same Toya designed, only with different covers.
Honestly i think the barbie 2021 house is better based on my experience the mirror actually worked, I loved the fake plants and grass, the beds weren't sculpted and it was customizable but it was still for $200 so I got it in sale.
I used to love pink I even had a pink glitter wall, then one day I got so sick of having everything pink and I though if one more person gives me something pink I'm gonna scream, so I got out of liking pink I would literally avoid it unless there was no other option, and then slowly I've come to love pink again it is literally taking over and I'm loving it lol 😆 it's good to know I'm not the only one that gets overwhelmed by colours.
Its cute, but fo not like the bed or the slide going in the house. The livingroom needs to be bigger so you can add more things in it. Love you channel!!
Honest thoughts.....Meh. I really wish Mattel/Barbie give us a multi-level doll house with more of an open concept. Yes, this is close...but then they take away from it with the slide, the molded beds, gaps in the floors and what maybe three features that require the batteries!? Play-Skool(?) has the better idea with the modular rooms you can buy, but still they are too small to be a real "awesome" alternative. Again, Its just my opinion. BUT TOYA I LOVE WHAT YOURE DOING IN BUILDING YOUR OWN! Love the majority pink theme but with the other colors of Barbie in different rooms. Of course the yellow, orange and brown harkening back to the 60s-70s and the blues, greens, whites and purples of the 90s-2000s.
I think the floor gap in the living room area with the couch is kinda cool, because it's kinda like a sunk in lounge area. However, I think the rest of the first floor should've been solid to really highlight that, and there still should be some kind of solid floor in the sunk-in space.
I feel like if drastically Mattel cut down on the number of Barbie doll & play set products they offered, they’d have the budgets to improve the quality of their items enough to make it worth the prices they are asking.
Sure lack of floors is cost cutting, but it is kind of cool that your own floor at home will be your barbie's first floor. But yeah, I am not a huge fan of sunken floor design.
