if you havent read part of your world or yours truly by abbu jimenz I would highly recommend reading them before just for the summer. its not necessary I just think it makes some of the plot points hit harder if you have read them

I got an ARC for Just For The Summer before it was released and I had no idea it was apart of an interconnected series. I still loved every second and rated 5 stars so I don't think it's absolutely necessary if she's really excited about this book right now.

@@RaeWilson5 yeah I definitely think it can still be good without reading the other two first, as it's meant to be a standalone and it's not good solely bc of the connection to the other two, but reading the other two (especially part of your world) makes the third act hit so much harder and makes you understand everything on a deeper level. so if she has an interest in reading the other two books, the best effect would be reading just for the summer last

Before reading Just For The Summer, I suggest reading Part of Your World first! There is an important subplot that will hit harder if you read the other 2 books first (but especially if you read Part of Your World).

I absolutely LOVED Bellabonna, but I also think that Foxglove is even better. Blythe is one of my favorite characters now because what she does at the end of the Foxglove. So so good! I hope you enjoy Foxglove!

I def recommend reading Part of Your World and Yours Truly before Just for the Summer. You don’t have to but there are references of characters from those books

I’m glad that you can relate with Emily Henry and being kinda bland some during the story. I have read a few of her books but just can’t get into her work. I hope to still read “ funny story” and hope I enjoy it. I just got the Abby Jimenez book, “Just for the Summer” and can’t wait to read it. I haven’t read her work yet and am looking forward to it. I can’t wait to see what you think about all your upcoming books

I started Binding 13 last week. And I’m liking it so far. I’ve been on a thriller kick this year so far. But I like romances too. I’m currently reading a thriller right now too. So I’m taking my time with Binding 13 since it’s a long book.

Love The Eden series. Just got books 3 & 4. And ordered book 5 from Waterstones in England, so I didn't have to wait until it is released in North America in August. I meet Devney in September at a Romance signing event in Seattle. So, I wanted to get the books done. Plus book 6 Sable Peak has been on NY shelf since December

Just for the summer was one of the biggest disappointments for me. Very triggering, dragged out and all the inconveniences that happen are really unrealistic.
