The messed up part is, if you truly a casual, ranked is better. Casual modes matchmaking is like the wild wild west. Ranked will atleast keep me from the god tier players.

21:00 You hit the nail on the head. Them "bringing back" the OG parks didn’t move me to buy 25 cus I kno the game isn’t the same. The gameplay not the same, the community not the same, the vibe not gon be the same. Those times were simpler. That’s back when everybody wasn’t buying their way to a 85 and seeing people 90+ overall legend was rare. That’s back when u we’re getting enough VC per game to buy hella outfits and accessories witout coming outta pocket wit real money. Those days are over. I would only be excited if they TURNED THE OLD SERVERS ON.
I feel the only reason we ask for old parks back because we left it up to 2k to make new parks and they left the grounded realistic feel of parks then had us hooping in the future and pirate ships
EXACTLY. If they kept it realistic and kept the layout the same as 2k15-17 then nobody woulda complained. But they tried that neighborhood and that was a fail. U woulda thought they would’ve reverted back to park after that but no instead they added a bigger city jus so they could advertise more companies and make more money..

@@1700-q3g Don’t say “now they want park back” like this the first or second year of the city. This been going on for 6 yrs. People don’t like it and they’ve had years to change it back but choose not to. That’s nasty on 2k part. Period.
They don’t know what to do with affiliations, last year rise was the aquatic and elite was futuristic, now it’s flipped. Why not do different themes? Why not just bring a regular known park from anywhere in the world? When was the last time we even had a court that was just next to a normal street with some bleachers, a city full of NPCs and none of em wanna see u play basketball, they wanna shop and walk round by they self with no interaction This shii weird. No direction at all. Making theme park settings from Thrillville instead of for basketball courts. We dont care for the old park or affiliations to come back, but at least something that builds off of that to make it better. Smh no creativity from a basketball standpoint and that’s the one thing we wanted
2k think they slick, putting in that "fight" animation. That's the jump ball animation that's been in the game for years. Anyway, as cool as the parks look, I would rather play in the 20v1 white rooms if that meant a better performing game.
you know what bugs me the most is the vc situation why do i buy a game for 70 dollars then have to basically spend 70 more dollars maybe even more to level up my character to have fun that shit is ass and you guys only care about gameplay and how the game looks the micro transaction in 2k are god awful but they know hey we got content creators and kids who will beg and pay for it so why fix it that shits trash man on another note its probably gonna be 2 months before people say its a stale game and start complaing so at least i dont have to watch this circus for to long TL;DR: 2k needs to fix the micro transaction shouldnt have to pay 70 to level a character
THANK YOU! Micro transactions is the biggest downfall of this game. Everything else is secondary. They used to give u enough vc through my career and park to level up ur player enough to have fun. When they saw people buying VC instead of earning it through game that’s when everything got messed up. I’ll say around 2k17. That’s when I saw the community shift and 2k followed suit. Until the community change the game not gon change. And the fact that the game is a yearly release and u can’t transfer ur VC, player progression etc. is disgusting. It’s literally a cycle
The Take-Two CEO has significant bonuses tied to microtransaction sales. That same CEO had his contract extended for several more years. This will never change. If anything, it'll only get worse.
The city allows for money bc of AD postings and multiple unnecessary stores to force ppl to spend vc. Store can be in a simple menu and a game can be played via match making. Instead yall standing on dots for 10mins just to play 1 game or have to skate across the map just to purchase 1 item amd and dont go to the wrong local shop and they dont sell what you want, time for another 10min journey to other side of the map.
Bro 2ks problem is they've become what can we surround the city with THEN add parks. What made 16 and 17 parks so good was you could just buy anything around the parks themselves because the park was the main point now it's just what can we feel out to make money oh and put a park here and there
