Owning N8 DCT from last 5 months. This car is a complete package. It is fuel efficient when driven normally. when you need thrill you have turbo engine, 7 dct, paddle shifters. When you are in mood to listen loud and extreme quality music you have Bose system. The list is simply long….. if anyone needs a hatchback loaded with features, blindly go for this car, provided you have a budget of 14L+
This is an amazing car and I have it for the last 4 months now. Your videos made me ditch my Jazz booking and go for it. The only challenge I've found being in for long hours in it is the lumbar support. Have you found that to be troubling? I would like to know what people do to recover from it or avoid it altogether, given it's my first car. Congrats on the baby girls!
@@PrithwiRay Thanks for that. I do find the comfort to be very good overall but just that over 6 hours of travel, my lower back gave up. I guess I just have a bad back. I'll check some accessories if it helps.
Indeed a great car Prithwi.. I just got mine a week ago the same N8 DCT ! And man whatt a Carr!! But I got some issues with mine. Android auto doesn't seems to be playing, Welcome message is not being delivered (The greetings car do when you enter the car after a long time), AC works fantastic! I keep it on 25.5 usually! Bluelink is a hit or miss kinda thing for me! But boy this car can handle! It stays flat throughout the corner! The only "Big issue" are the tyres! Absolutely zero grip from shitfuck CEAT tyres! They scream even on the slightest of the corner! Hate them totally! Which tyres have you upgraded so far? Also the Exhaust sound is pretty decent and pretty good when cold starting it.! Yet to experience high speed stability (140+) brakes work fine for me! All n all a pretty neat car to drive for enthusiasts like us! 9/10 rating from me :) Drive safe ❤️
The system will not play the welcome message if it’s updating in the background. Tires are an issue. Stock seats are decent but noisy. I upgraded to same size primacy 4 tires. Much nicer and got a good trade in value too.
Excellent. Any issues with the DCT overheating in this searing Delhi summer? And what's your take on the headlight illumination? I'm hearing(and reading) on different forums that the illumination could've been better. Once again congrats for an extremely fair and knowledgeable evaluation. Do keep this channel updated. HI @PrithwiRay, Thanks for the brutally honest reviews of your i20 N Line. Based on your reviews and a test drive, I have booked a i20 N Line N8 DCT and am eagerly waiting for it. A few concerns I have are the mileage (what do you think I can expect) here in the slow bumper-to-bumper traffic of Bangalore, lack of underbody cladding, open grill and the wired Apple Car Play. Besides these nit picks, I think this is a good car for my usage which is 80% in city. Also, is it vital to swap the tyres to the Michelin Primacy ones as soon as I get it?
Mileage depends on how aggressively you drive rather than at what avg speeds you maintain. Underbody cladding no car in this catergory comes with. That said I’m not too happy with the exposed fuel lines, which are not the case with the polos. Open grill is yet to cause any issues for me, so that’s ok

How's your experience in bumper to bumper traffic, does the dct heat up like Creta and seltos? Anything to be taken care of in the bumper to bumper traffic?
