Let’s tour a new yarn and fiber store-Meadow Fibers, Yakima, WA 

I visited a new yarn and fiber store in Yakima today, Meadow Fibers. This hidden gem should not be hidden any longer! Yakima (Washington State town) has needed a yarn store for some time and Bonnie, store owner, is curating such a lovely collection of yarn and fiber for fiber artists and brings her passion for natural fibers to the forefront. One of her shop goals is to support the local Fibershed which includes farmers of local wool and other natural fiber producers as well, i.e., 🦙 Alpaca farmers, rabbitries, and fiber goat producers. I am sure this list will grow as the word gets out.

A few sheep producers from the Kittitas Valley (including us at Cooke Creek Sheep Co) plan to have their wool products available at Bonnie’s storefront soon. The items we sell through Yarn Folk in Ellensburg will not be available at Meadow Fiber and vice versa.
