Looking at those Triton tires you got for that car. Are they smaller in diameter than hostile fronts. Which tires wear better , which tires grip better
They were ok did ok at race but I crashed and did not make it to the finish line for that 20 min long race I was in. The wheel is bigger and you will have to cut grunt wing up and make them fit and change hubs . I have a video up that shows all this . I will be removing them this year and trying something new on it so stay tuned
They are the standard 24mm hex wheels right? And can they fit the standard bead locks tires also? They look a little narrower it’s maybe because it’s a really big CAR!

awesome unboxing, looks great but my opinion still stands on the price of this thing. I'm thinking about doing a crazy custom build on my Baja to convert it to onroad once the engine is done, crazy as in a bunch of custom parts for a specific purpose that I won't say yet because I don't know if I'm actually Gunna do it. Sorry I'm just thinking aloud Lol. Update on my engine build, I'm almost done, just gotta order a few more parts and get another thing machined. Question, have you found out if that air filter tube/relocater thing that is on this rig attached to a velocity stack ? Becuase if I do decide to execute my crazy plans, that will definably help.

Check for air leaks/ check the pinch on it to see if there’s some compression. If it’s an old engine like my RB engine? Don’t waste time or money on it and start out fresh new Novarossi

I want a bash set up one that I can just go out and drift and listen to my engine scream and definitely have another one set up for on road racing. I’m going to race mine this Saturday July 13 at a track in N.J. For the first time bone stock out the box then I need to set it up a bit for the big Trophy 🏆 Race on August 10!! Also you never know if more people get one of these ? We can even drag race them in the future? There’s even 2 speeds for this platform.

That’s awesome man so I know you seen it in person and you really know how truly beautiful this machine is because this video don’t do justice! Yesterday when I got home from work and fired her up and seen it breath , drink some⛽️Cam-2 , and fart 💨 just to do another heat cycle and run some more fuel threw that new 36 engine more and I just stared at it for a while like if she had a nice set of tits and Ass.
There are many good 2 stroke oils to use on these RC’s . Try to stay with an Oil made for High Performance 2stroke dirt bike and ATV engines like HP from Honda or Yahmalube and never use 2 stroke oils made for lawn equipment because they are not rated and can not support the protection past 20,000 RPMs ! I highly recommend oils like RedLine 👍, KLOTZ 👍, Castor 927 over those even over the dirt bike oils these are even better but my favorite of all oils is from AMSOIL and it’s called DOMINATOR 2 Stroke Oil 🏆🥇 my favorite with best results threw out the years not just with all my RC Engines but with my past experience ATV race set up I had drag racing in the sand dunes with my high performance twin 2 stroke Banshee engine. It was all stage 4 and 5 TRINITY done . I went from rebuilding my engine every month to once a year and that was because I wanted a fresh set up for the season Not because I had too so who knows if it would have lasted another season or half???
This car looks nice even tho its straight copy from mcd. But can you tell me how does suspension feel? On my rovan baja it was absolutley garbage and i wonder if its common for all the rovans. Im talking about shocks only.
Shocks are great 👍 I just want to get stiffer springs on it for racing at the track and use thicker shock oil . My Baja shorty Q 29cc, and 5B 45cc , and 5SC 32cc all have good shocks even my past baja 30.5cc was good . You must of had the early made ones or maybe it was the king motor Ones ?
That’s crazy I just got my first Baja from roven last week and all it does is flood out it doesn’t even try to start and you pull on your f5 a few times and it cranks with ease, what am I doing wrong is it because I live in the south and the air is different, some one please help I won’t to brap lol
Well what’s the problem? Your new to this correct? If so is it your first time or second time? Do you have spark? If not ? Did you check and gap your Coil ? Is your spark plug boot on your plug fully ? Did you accidentally leave your choke on to Long and flooded your engine like most E-word guys and newbies do like I used to do when I started in the 90s ? If Not your probably not primed yet it happens sometimes so a little trick I do is throw some 3in1 oil in the cylinder just a few drops or a squeeze and reinstall spark plug , open your throttle a 1/4 and pull the engine and once you hear 👂 the engine make a sound ? Remove off choke ASAP and fire that bitch up and give it Throttle give it a little Rpms until it clears up just like I had to do with my friends OBR 34 Engine in his Drag Baja do you remember that video? It was not long ago
BOTAJELL this is my second time I have a rampage mt love it and yes I’m fairly new to this I’ve been into RC’s since I was a kid but I figured out what the problem was I had my high needle open to much it runs like a champ now thank you for replying back to me I’m in to 1/5 scale because of you and I thank you for that I’ve learned a lot from your videos, yes a remember the video you were talking about I went back and watched it and it helped.
Awesome car bro. I like MCDs only thing is they can get expensive real quick. You should look at their off road truck. It’s looks and runs like a beast. Again expensive though. So it’s cool that Rovan is doing this platform. Hopefully they do a version of there truck. I’ll buy that for sure. Great video man keep it up bro.
MCDs don’t come with Rovan 36ccs and turbo stainless steel pipes or that fuel tank set up , that I have seen and especially that price have you ? If so please post the link here . I’d love to see it because I was looking all over . And the F5 comes with hardened steel gears ⚙️ but the Platform is similar and I hear that the bearings are slightly bigger on the F5 then from the MCD. If I had a MCD I could do a comparison but I don’t and none of my friends have don’t have one either.
I think it will give more people the opportunity to get that platform that is a fan especially with the upgrades it comes with stock besides the price difference so more people can go out and race at tracks . Hopefully this will help and prevent race tracks from closing up around the country because things have been dying out around by us.
paul hedges I stand with Botajell. Where I live there are no RC stores never mind tracks. Given everything that’s been cancelled this year in RC. I’m no longer brand loyal, these big companies no longer care about gas and nitro guys. I truly believe if these companies were more realistic with their prices, More people would buy there products. Not to mention quality of product and customer service. As for the engines that people choose to run to each his/her own. Are you the owner of MCD or another company?Why give your fellow brapp brothers grief over what they choose to run. I’ll never understand it you’re like a little kid, making fun of someone’s off brand sneakers or clothes. The only company lately that I have seen consistently step up for gas is Rovan/KM. You can have your own political opinions about RC. However when you go shopping for a new RC or parts, from the first hand market not second hand. You’re going to have a rude awakening.
